Chapter 5 - *Chapter 5: New York*

Ron pov*

As I stood in the alleyway, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and wonder. The towering skyscrapers of New York City loomed above me, their reflections glinting off the windows of the nearby buildings.

Red Queen's voice echoed in my earpiece. "Affirmative, sir. I've hacked into the CCTV cameras in the area. You're clear to teleport."

I nodded, even though she couldn't see me. "Thanks, Red Queen. Send me the location of the house."

The location appeared on my mental map, and I focused my energy on the spot. With a swish of air, I teleported to the location.

As I materialized, I took a deep breath, feeling the cool New York air fill my lungs. I looked around, taking in the sights and sounds of the city.

People walked by, going about their daily business, completely unaware of my presence. I smiled, feeling a sense of nostalgia wash over me.

This was what it was like to be back in the era, to be a normal person again.

But my mind soon wandered back to my past, to the life I had left behind.

I had been in the hospital, dying from a brain tumor. My family had given up on me, unable to afford the costly treatment.

But then, something strange had happened. I had been transmigrated to the Marvel universe, a place where gods and cosmic entities roamed free.

The problem was, I had been transported 4.1 billion years ago, before the Demiurge, a powerful cosmic being, had seeded the planet with life.

As I pondered my situation, I recalled my first encounter with the Demiurge.

He had sensed my presence, floating outside the space of the primal Earth, and had approached me.

"Who are you?" he had asked, his voice like thunder.

I had turned to face him, and my eyes had widened in awe. The Demiurge was unlike anything I had ever seen, a being of immense power and energy.

"I'm Ron," I had replied, trying to sound calm. "I'm just waiting here for life to emerge on this planet."

The Demiurge had laughed, a sound that had shaken the cosmic space. "You think life can emerge on this barren planet without external force?" he had asked.

I had shrugged, unsure of what to say.

The Demiurge had then revealed his true nature, a cosmic being capable of creating life.

"Perhaps it's fate that I've chosen this planet to have life," he had said. "And I'll use my own energy to create it."

As the Demiurge spoke, he had examined me with interest. He had sensed that I was a cosmic being, but he couldn't understand how I had formed or where I came from.

"You're not like any other cosmic being I've met," he had said, his eyes narrowing. "You seem to be... outside of the universe."

I had smiled, enjoying the Demiurge's confusion.

But as we stood there, the Demiurge had proposed a deal. "You can observe the creation of life on this planet," he had said. "I'll create life, and you can think about it."

I had agreed, curious about the process.

As we stood there, the Demiurge had smiled, and I had laughed.

The Demiurge had been so confident in his abilities, so sure that he could create life on this planet.

And I had been so naive, so unaware of the true nature of the universe.

I've been waiting for countless eons to be back in my own time.
