Chapter 1 - The Chains of Damnation

In the deepest abyss of the Netherworld, where even demons dared not tread, a soul chained in searing fire slumbered beneath the blackened crust of Hell. His name… was Kael Draven—once a tyrant feared across realms, now a forgotten legend shackled by the gods themselves.

The sulfurous winds howled through the ruins of what was once the Obsidian Citadel, Hell's former throne of power. Crumbling towers whispered tales of bloodshed, conquest, and betrayal. Beneath it all, in a chamber of jagged obsidian, Kael lay bound—his flesh charred, his eyes lifeless, his power sealed within seven runes of celestial light.

"Ten thousand years…" a voice hissed through the chamber, echoing like the cries of the damned. "And still, you sleep."

A shadow moved. Cloaked in flowing crimson flame, a demoness stepped forward—Lilith, the last loyal general of the Hell King. Her eyes gleamed with madness and longing as she touched the runes that imprisoned her master.

"The gods grow arrogant," she whispered. "Their champions grow weak. The balance tips once again."

She drove a cursed dagger into her palm, her blood—a blend of demonic essence and forbidden magic—dripping onto the glowing runes. They sizzled, cracked, and then… dimmed.

Kael's fingers twitched.

Outside, the skies of the mortal realm thundered. A fissure opened above a forgotten battlefield where no man dared step. Animals fled. Crops rotted. And the old prophets screamed in their sleep.

"Something ancient awakens," said a dying seer, his eyes bleeding. "The King of Hell returns…"

Back in the infernal chamber, Kael gasped, his body surging with shadowy flames. His wounds vanished. His silver-white hair cascaded past his shoulders, eyes igniting with a molten red glow. The chains trembled. His voice, like cracking stone and storm, thundered:

"Who dares… break my seal?"

Lilith dropped to one knee, her head bowed. "Your general, my King. The realms have forgotten their true master."

Kael stood tall, towering, the ground breaking beneath his bare feet. He clenched his fist, feeling his long-lost strength pulse once more.

"No…" he growled. "They will remember. I will scorch their heavens, shatter their thrones, and paint the stars in their blood."

Lilith smiled, her face twisted with ecstasy and pain. "Then rise, my King… and let the world burn again."

As the last seal shattered, the scream of the gods echoed across creation.

The Hell King had returned.
