Chapter two
New friend
It's 8:00 in the morning and am still lying on my bed lazily, I pinched myself so hard so I could stand up from my comfortable soft fluffy bed and pillow .
Is this how you want to be a punctual student? I asked my self while laughing.
I hurriedly got to the bathroom brushed my teeth and took my bath , but I don't know what to eat yet .
Class is by 9:00AM and am still talking to myself about how my day will go while it was 8:40AM
Finally I left the house few minutes to the class time and I ended been 15mins late .
Don't mind me just not use to waking up early.
I am business administration student and we're having a business class (bus 101) that's our course code
Looking at the man lips moves as words comes out from his mouth and try jotting down everything that makes sense on my book was kind of difficult but I had to be a serious student
So this was my routine everyday and I still don't know anyone just my roommate but she wasn't my type to be called a friend cause she actually careless about me.
Sometimes she acts caring and most times she piss me off always keeping the place dirty and cleaning up is like a heavy load on her .
I always do the cleaning while she messes up everywhere and I can't stand it.
So one day at school I met a guy and he was my course mate his name was Charles ,he was a light skinned boy with an Afro hairstyle
I actually found him cute at first but he definitely wasn't my spec
So he came to me and we talked for hours and that was something I don't do ..stay at school while there was no class holding but I did stay because I finally found someone ready to talk to me so why not.
It was getting late and my poor tummy hasn't eaten anything yet so I told him I wanted to go
He followed me down to my house while making me talk and smile on the road .
Finally we got to my place,my roommate wasn't around she traveled to her boyfriend's place .it doesn't actually meant I was single I had a boyfriend back at home too
So I prepared rice and we both ate ,he really praised my cooking skills saying I was a good cook which obviously made me blush more
I was so happy for meeting Charles at least I felt welcomed to the school
It was past 7:40pm and Charles was about leaving so I went to see him off and thanked him for making my day while I watched him entered a cab and he waved goodbye to me saying " see you in class tomorrow" so I waved back and said " sure" while still smiling.
