Chapter 1 - INTRODUCTION

"...cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken...(Genesis 3:17, 19)"

First, one thing a man must learn to accept before any other thing else is the fact that this 'GROUND' is cursed against him. This is the perception he should understand and work with it thereafter. And no, am not talking about 'man' in a general sense (as in human race), but I mean 'MAN' as in a male human. Every single step taken by a man on the ground, creates a strive in-between. The ground isn't ready to submit anything good to him, which is why it is always hard for it to be dug, right?

Next, he must learn to accept the fact that struggling and sweating are a part of the processes to reaping from the good of the land.

Listen to this in Isaiah 1:19:

"If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:"

Take note of one, 'Willing', and two, 'Obedient'. That is to say, if you are willing to work and if you are obedient to the instruction. What instruction?

Genesis 1:26 tells us, "...and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."

So, here is the instruction: have dominion over One, "Fish of the sea", Two, "Fowl of the air", Three, "Every creeping thing...". This is a three-fold dominion: Air, Sea and Land.

Eating from the good of the land requires willingness to sweat (i.e, to work) and obedience to the instruction to dominate the earth (by tilling the soil for production, mining; penetrating the sea for fish, treasures and others; exploring the air.)
