It's been four years later... They're now in college. The couple were still lovely until something happened that ruined it... It was Ashley's birthday. She called her boyfriend Calvin, but he didn't answered the call, so Ashley left him a voicemail. "Love, I'll wait for you at the café we first dated... I already got the cake ordered, I hope you got me some presents." she joked and giggles before putting the phone down. She effortfully chose the best dress and added make-up. After she was done, she grabbed her purse and made her way towards the café. She sat at the banquet and waited for Calvin, but time passed and it rained... Calvin didn't appear. She waited another hour and hours, until it gets dark. She sadly stood up and went home, when she saw Calvin in the rain kissing another girl while he was holding an umbrella to cover theirselves from the rain, Ashley's eyes widened and tears starts running on her face she cried and ran, when Calvin saw her he was shocked and guilty. He chased Ashley until he ended up on her house, instead of their shared home. Ashley locked the door inside and sat down... She was sobbing and crying. Calvin got up from her porch and knocked on the door. "Ashley... Please open the door... It's not what you think it is... Please, Ashley...". But Ashley didn't opened the door and just continued crying. "I don't ever wanna see you again... Leave and never come back. Get out of my life, Calvin...". Calvin tearfully was shocked and was hurt. He rested his head on the door and sighed. "I'm sorry, Ashley... Please forgive me... Just one more chance...". Calvin begged but Ashley dismissed her. "I said leave! I don't need you to apologize... We're done." She says with a hurt tone. Calvin knows that he can't do anything about it so he just nod and tried to give her some space. "Alright... I'll give you some space to think... But I'm really sorry... I never meant to hurt you... And I'm sorry for not going when it was your birthday... I really done terribly... I'm sorry to ruin your birthday...". He said before leaving. While Ashley cried all day and night she couldn't sleep thinking about Calvin. She still cared about him but she doesn't know what to do, she was hurt and was confused. It's hard for her to accept it and start to doubt her trust on him.
