Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 : Destiny?

The next day, Ryu woke up in the morning and had breakfast with bland bread and a glass of tea. He didn't go to his garden that day, but instead decided to go down the mountain to find a store that sold food and drinks. The supplies in his house had run out, so he had to buy some from a shop at the foot of the mountain.

Ryu's house was located on the mountainside, about 15 km from the church where the villagers went to worship. Other villagers lived below the mountain, but Ryu's house was still part of the village area. Every weekend, the villagers would pass in front of Ryu's house on their way to church, as it was the only road leading there.

Ryu arrived at the store and bought food and drinks. After he finished shopping, he saw two women being robbed and harassed by three thugs. Ryu couldn't just stand by and decided to intervene.

"Hey! Don't bother those two women!" Ryu shouted at the thugs.

The thugs didn't care and started challenging Ryu to a fight. "What if we don't want to, huh?" one of the thugs said.

Without hesitation, Ryu stepped forward to fight them. He successfully rescued the two women and made the thugs run away.

After saving the women, Ryu picked up his groceries, which he had set down before taking on the thugs. He then walked away from the two women.

However, one of the women called out to him and asked for his name. "Thank you... wait, what's your name?" the woman said.

Ryu smiled and replied, "My name? It's Ryu, Ryu Tebujin." He then turned around and waved his right hand while saying goodbye to the two women.

After the incident, Ryu couldn't stop thinking about God. He wondered if God was cruel for allowing such a harsh fate to befall the two women he had just saved. But he also thought that God might be kind, for guiding him to be there and save them.

These thoughts made Ryu even more confused. Does God really exist or not? Does God truly care about humans? Or is God merely a concept created by humans to give hope and strength?

Ryu couldn't find any satisfying answers. He kept walking home, his mind still filled with questions about God.

When he got home, Ryu still couldn't stop thinking about God. He sat on the couch, his eyes blank and his mind still filled with questions. He didn't know what to do, but he knew he had to keep searching for answers.

Ryu then decided to take a notebook and write down those questions. He hoped that by writing them down, he might find clearer answers.

However, even after writing them down, Ryu still couldn't find any satisfying answers. He then decided to take a deep breath and try to think more clearly.

Ryu knew he had to keep searching for the answers to those questions, and he wouldn't give up until he found something that satisfied him. He then stood up and walked to the window, looking out at the beautiful and peaceful nature.

Ryu hoped that by observing nature, he could find the answers to those questions. He then took a deep breath and tried to think more clearly.
