It turned out that the girl was the daughter of the owner of one of the blacksmith shops. Because Aiden dared to fight the knight to protect her, the shop owner allowed Aiden to borrow one of his swords.
Aiden took the sword and tried swinging it. Though not as good as a magic sword, Aiden was still able to use it properly. The girl's father nodded. If Aiden managed to defeat the knight, he could keep the sword.
"Thank you. I will win the challenge," replied Aiden.
"Sure. You protected my daughter. That is all I can do for you," said the middle-aged man.
In Aiden's opinion, the sword he was given was more than enough for him. What decided victory in a knight's battle was physical strength and skill. Aiden was confident that with his abilities, he could defeat the knight.
He left the blacksmith district with Aurora and the others. The Challenge Arena was located near the guild office and could be used by anyone to challenge anyone else.
