Synopsis
Elena was destined to be the next Luna of the Nightshade Pack, but fate had other plans. Accused for murder and thrown into a dungeon, she spent six years in darkness. When her fated mate, Alpha Enzo of the Moonshine Pack, finally found her, he rejected her without hesitation—choosing her cousin, Stella, instead. And as if that wasn’t enough, after their packs merged, he humiliated and banished her. Just when Elena thought her suffering couldn't get worse, her own uncle sold her to the most feared man of all—the Alpha King, known as the Death God. But instead of making her a slave, he made her his contract wife. However, there was more to her marriage than she realized. Why did King Killian choose her? What secret was he hiding? As if things couldn't get more complicated, Elena discovered that she was also mated to King Killian’s brother, a man who wanted nothing but her misery. And the biggest shock of all? Elena was still mated to Alpha Enzo. Their mate bond never broke. Three powerful Alphas. One forsaken she-wolf. What fate had the Moon Goddess planned for Elena? And will she survive the storm ahead?

Chapter 1 - Elena

"Don't you dare pull this stunt of yours ever again!" Alpha Zade barked as he pushed Elena into a dark dungeon. "You're fortunate I'm quite busy today, Elena. Otherwise, your pathetic attempt to escape from me would have guaranteed your ticket to hell!" he warned, his eyes filled with rage as he gripped Elena's ankle with a huge chain.

Alpha Zade aggressively grabbed Elena's chin as he forced her to meet his bloodshot eyes. His voice was a low, menacing growl as he said. "We are preparing a feast to welcome the Alpha of Moonshine pack, and so far everything is going well. If someone had seen you while you were recklessly trying to escape, it would have caused a rumor to spread and I do not want Alpha Enzo to know I have such a cursed fool in this pack. So you better behave yourself, Elena!" With a sharp flick of his wrist, he released her chin, leaving a dull arch where he had pressed.

Elena didn't say a word. She didn't flinch, didn't blink. She just stared at Alpha Zade with no expression on her face, as though he was nothing more than a shadow that came too close.

"You fool! Do you understand?!" Alpha Zade demanded before sending a hard slap across her face.

The slap brought Elena back to reality, and she scrambled back in fear, nodding frantically while rubbing her already red cheek. "Y-yes Alpha, I understand."

"Good. Now, I suggest you stay put. If things go well and I'm in the mood, I might feed you today." Alpha Zade's voice dripped with disdain.

Before Elena could react, he pulled a syringe filled with wolfsbane from his pocket and drove it into her neck.

"This day is very special for my daughter and I won't let you ruin it." These were the last words Elena heard before the darkness consumed her.

A few hours later, Elena woke up in the same dark, cold dungeon where she had been trapped for years. The faint smell of mold and metal filled the air, and the only light in the room came from a single torch mounted on the wall.

She let out a deep sigh as she looked at the heavy iron chains wrapped around her legs, connecting her to a large, unmovable stone block. Her dress was torn, and her bare feet rested on the wet, dirty floor. Her face was pale, and her eyes were tired and empty. She sat still, hugging her knees and shivering from the chill in the air.

"Ivy, we failed. This was our only chance at escape, and we missed it," Elena muttered to her wolf, her voice weak and cracked.

"We'll get another chance, Elena. I know we will," Ivy replied. But Elena sighed in distress, doubting that another opportunity would present itself. Perhaps the Moon Goddess had forgotten about them.

For years, Elena had been thinking of ways to escape. Alpha Enzo's arrival in search of a mate was supposed to be her opportunity, as everyone would be preoccupied. Sadly, she ended up getting caught. The thought of never being able to leave the dungeon made Elena cry herself to sleep.

Almost immediately, Elena woke up feeling extremely hungry. She rose from the floor, dragging her chained legs sluggishly, as she searched the dungeon for food. Her frail body struggled to support her as she staggered through the dark, cold space. The chains rattled with every movement, her eyes scanning for any leftovers.

"Is there someone in there?" Elena suddenly heard a strange voice, causing her eyes to widen in horror. She hurried back into the deep corner of the dungeon.

"Alpha, please! You have to come back to the dining room. There is no one there," Elena heard Alpha Zade's distressed voice, and she gasped.

Alpha?! That meant Enzo was coming towards her?! No! He shouldn't find her! Alpha Zade would kill her!

Beads of sweat formed on Elena's forehead as she looked around the room, desperately searching for a place to hide. She was about to hide under her creepy bed when the gates were pushed open, and her eyes landed on a pair of deep blue eyes.

Suddenly, the sweet smell of mint and chocolate filled the room as Elena locked eyes with Alpha Enzo. Her heart raced like a galloping horse within her ribcage, and she could feel the excitement of her wolf.

"Mate! We finally meet our mate!" Ivy squealed in excitement.

Elena gasped, unable to believe what her wolf had just said. "W-what? M-mate?"

"Is this fate? Is it the Moon Goddess's plan for my destined mate to rescue me from my uncle?" Elena thought to herself, tears of joy rolling down her face. She was finally going to be free. Her mate was here for her.

"Mate," Elena muttered, a weak smile creeping across her face. However, the smile quickly disappeared when she got a proper look at Alpha Enzo. H-he didn't look so happy.
