10th S-Rank In South Korea!
It has passed another week since Sung Jin-Woo healed Song Chi-Yul, and in meantime of that week she had already had been contacted by a Guild, White Tigers Guild, apparently people already suspected Sung Jin-Woo of second awakening so there is no point in concealing herself as E-Rank anymore.
So for that matter, Sung Jin-Woo walked into Korea Hunter's Association building to officially take proper re-evaluation.
Sung Jin-Woo is currently waiting in a fine line for them to call out her name, oh she can already imagine what would their faces be like once they see her old face via picture on screen and her current.
They will be dumbstruck at the very least.
Sung Jin-Woo crossed her arms over her chest and crossed her legs too. But thankfully, line for awakened people or those who want re-evaluation is thin. Only two before her in line and one behind her.
She is already thinking on lowering her mana capacity, after all she has unlimited mana, any reading device would have exploded if it tried to measure her mana after all, she would lower it to acceptable level where it doesn't explode, at least she thinks it wont at that level.
But..
She rubbed her head, she can already feel headaches coming from people who would want to recruit her to their Guild, or reporters who would be annoying as hell. She just sighed at that.
"Sung Jin-Woo!" A name proclamation was heard from the window, this was the sing that it's now Sung Jin-Woo's time to enter for re-evaluation.
She swiftly stood up, her black coat following her trail as she opened the door and stepped inside.
Inside the room is a giant orb, similar variant of the one she was re-evaluated back in Hospital but obviously way bigger, and beside that orb is a computer with a woman typing something on. Without further ado, she walked till she was in front of the orb.
"Sung Jin-Wo..." Name was left in throat once woman cast a glance at Sung Jin-Woo before glancing at picture below on her monitor. They.Do.Not.Match.
Picture was that of a young man, black haired young man while figure who entered for re-evaluation was a young but beautiful woman, someone she never had seen even once, but if she dd, she would have sworn that such woman should have worked as a model instead of a Hunter.
"Miss, I apologize but you not to exit.." The worker corrected herself as she glanced one last time at her monitor before urging white haired girl to leave.
Sung Jin-Woo just shock his head.
"I am Sung Jin-Woo, my body has been radically changed, and I'm pretty sure it's also mentioned in the field below." Was Sung Jin-Woo's reply, causing woman to be confused for a second before she typed something else on her monitor.
But then, old Sung Jin-Woo's picture has been replaced with the new one, this time with his 'new body'.
"I... I don't know....." Poor woman, she is confused, it's hilarious. " You know what, I don't give a fuck anymore. I just wanna go home, but your hand on the orb and the computer will show me results." She said tiredly, poor woman was what Sung Jin-Woo though.
And in the second, reading showed 'error'.
Woman was flabbergasted for a second before smile bloomed on her face as she spoke her next sentence.
"Miss Sung Jin-Woo, you are 10th S-Rank in South Korea!" She exclaimed.
Hours later.
Hospital.
Room.
In a plain hospital room, on a bed is a sleeping woman, in her 40s with long black hair, sleeping soundly, and sitting on a chair beside her bad is Sung Jin-Woo.
The woman sleeping is her mother, she had caught Eternal Slumber four years ago, forcing Sung Jin-Woo to work as a Hunter to meet the ends.
But thankfully, due to Yoo Jin-Hoo's C-Rank Gates and how much they took, Sung Jin-Woo had earned 500,000$, a half a million. More than enough to last them for a long time and she won't need to stretch any time soon.
But.
"But what does this much money means if I don't have anyone to share it with?" She questioned no one as she slowly brought her hands till she enveloped hands belonging to her mother, Park Kyung-Hye. "I tried my powers for enough time by now, experimented with them. I just hope it's enough.."
And as she wished so, she used her skill [Active Skill: Supreme Healing]! On Park Kyung-Hye's body, effect were already visible.
The burn marks on Park Kyung-Hye's neck disappeared as Sung Jin-Woo remembered how she got them, all meanwhile Park Kyung-Hye's whole body glowed orange.
Glow did not stop any soon, as Park Kyung-Hye's body as if it started reversing in age became more lively, gained more color.
Her breathing became more..
But..
A single tear spilled out from Sung Jin-Woo's eyes.
Then another.
Then one more.
Tears began streaming till something wiped them..
Not something.. But someone.
Sung Jin-Woo opened her eyes, only to meet a warm smile coming from Park Kyung-Hye's face.
"Sung Jin-Woo.. I heard everything when I was in coma.. And I know it's you so.." Park Kyung-Hye slowly hugged Sung Jin-Woo, who couldn't help sniffing and continued crying while Park Kyung-Hye tapped her back. " Let it out, my Jin-Woo. I know you cared for JIn-Ah, I heard every tale about you being a Hunter, every danger you had come across, everything you had done for Jin-Ah.."
"And Jin-Woo, I'm proud of you. You are best son a mother could have asked for .."
Three days later.
News of a patient waking up from Eternal Slumber were heard already across all hospitals, no one was aware on how or why was it possible
Exception of two people, the healer herself and Chairman of Hunter Association.
"It's fine, no one called reporters or anything yet.." Sung Jin-Woo breathed out a sigh of relief as she pulled the hood of her head, she is now in front of Hunter Association Headquarters, and thankfully there is only one person in front of the building.
Sung JIn-Woo smiled in relief before walking up to figure herself, once she was close enough she outstretched her hand for a handshake which figure took and return.
"Nice to see you once again, Director Woo JIn-Chul."
Director returned her smile with his own before shaking his head.
"I could say the same thing about you. " He replied before motioning with his right hand at doors behind him. " Chairman is already waiting, shall we enter?" Woo Jin-Chul's respect for Sung JIn-Woo had risen drastically once she 'healed' Go Gun-Hee thus earning favor of both of them.
"How was your day? Miss.Sung Jin-Woo or would you prefer Mr?" Woo Jin-Chul asked after he opened the doors and gentlemanly gesturing for Sung Jin-Woo to enter first, she did.
"It doesn't matter anymore, I adapted to it." She sighed, truly she doesn't care anymore, whenever she goes for shopping for groceries or some other erand,obviously everyone would be referring to her as 'Miss' and not 'Mr',
Woo Jin-Chul simply nodded in accordance as they continued walking through the hallway till one of the rooms at the end of the hallway, and soon enough Woo Jin-Chul typed something on the pad on right side of the doors, causing them to slide open upwards before we stepped inside.
Inside the room we are meet with slightly younger Chairman and beside him is an middle-aged man with glasses holding a notebook and pan in his hand.
Chairman nodded Sung Jin-Woo with a warm smile on his face, pleased to see young women who already contributed so much to South Korea in short time. With his power back to prime, he would attempt Jeju Island raid soon enough, still preparations are still needed to be done yet,
"Good day, young Sung Jin-Woo, I heard your mother had woke up from her Eternal Slumber, I suppose that was your doing?" Go Gun-Hee asked, after all it must be her doing. Who else is capable of doing such miracle other than her?
Sung Jin-Woo nodded, Woo Jin-Chul already guessed so but the other man in the room alongside them was shocked beyond belief.
His mouth gaped, as his complexion paled even more despite his already very pale skin. He couldn't believe it, there is someone who can cure Eternal Slumber!? He already knows that he needs to re-test new S-Rank's abilities nothing more and nothing less, and give new Hunter licence all in one time.
So he with trembling lips asked?
"Miss Sung Jin-Woo, y-you can cure Eternal Slumber?" He quested as his pen moved to his note book to write, this could be such great power! So many people could benefit from this !
Or so he though, but the moment his pen was about to touch paper, it was stopped by something like small thin barrier forming around his notebook. Surprising him, leaving him with no words,
"And no, I won't allow you to write it on my profile, even though I trust your system, you can't never be sure about capable hackers appearing, so this information will have to stay out." She requested as her index finger on her right hand gloved orange.
Chairman already expected such reaction so he simply gave a look to tester to not test her patience, pun intended.
Tester composed himself for a moment, coughed in his right fist for a second before professionally asking.
"Hunter Sung Jin-Woo you have already been ranked as S-Rank but despite that wee need to write your abilities and your class in your profile, so with that in mind it would be very enlightening if you could show us your abilities?" He asked
Sung Jin-Woo answered immediately, he is overpowered so there is no need for him to be afraid of anyone, he doubts even Thomas Andre 'strongest hunter' could kill, after all, Sung Jin-Woo is too overpowered.
"I'm Mage-Class, my abilities wary, I have two abilities, primary abilities I call them. One is healing, I can heal him" She pointed at Chairman, Testers eyes widened before he started writing " I believe my healing powers are equal to those of S-Rank."
Go Gun-Hee interrupted while 'coughing' "Superior not equal."
Woo Jin-Chul stayed beside Sung Jin-Woo while nodding in agreement.
All meanwhile tester continued writing even faster than before.
"And my second ability is manipulation of space."
When those words dropped, all three sets of eyes gazed upon Sung Jin-Woo's figure who nervously coughed.
"Can you elaborate?" Questioned Woo JIn-Chul who stood flabbergasted, he does remember her saying the last time they meet 'they were trapped in another dimension'.
"I can manipulate space to my wish for example like this." She said before using her space manipulation to uplift herself from the floor to float above them ." Or I can use as offensive abilities and even defensive." She said before outstretching her right hand and manifesting a red cube in it.
Then she glanced at Chairman.
"Chairman Go Gun-Hee, since I healed you, you are at your full strength correct?" Go Gun-Hee nodded. "Then would you help me demonstrate my abilities?"
"What do you have in mind? Young Sung Jin-Woo?" He arched his eyebrow at that.
"Remember the dimension I created and secluded us last time when you visited me in my apartment ?"
Go Gun-Hee nodded before understanding her assumption, he immediately undressed the suit's coat he wore before tossing it at Woo Jin-Chul who grabbed it.
And that same moment, cube-like barrier surrounded Go Gun-Hee.
Sung Jin-Woo motioned at trapped Go Gun-Hee.
"My ability allows me to manipulate space by forming dimensions or even barriers like this one around someone." She motioned for Go Gun-Hee to try and break it from inside.
~THUD!
A punch with full force struck the barrier from inside, but there has been not even a small crack on the barrier, surprising everyone present but not Sung Jin-Woo of course.
But then.
~THUD!
THUD!
Countless punches followed up, dozens of them thrown in a second, but there has not been even a sign of barrier breaking nor cracking at all.
"Incredible, these barriers might rival those of Yuri Orloff." Exclaimed Go Gun-Hee, he didn't hold back at all, he struck the barrier with all his might, yet it stood there, unscathed.
Sung Jin-Woo with one click of her fingers dispelled the barrier around Go Gun-Hee. " I can also use teleportation by manipulations space around me." She proclaimed before something bizarre happened behind her.
A tear in reality, literally reality broke behind her in a star-shaped symbol, she stepped inside of it till that same star-shaped hole in reality appeared on other side of the room with resounding hissing voice, as if something was crying.
"And I can also separate someone to another dimension, like this." She declared before another 'cube' manifested around Go Gun-Hee then next second it turned invincible.
Woo Jin-Chul dashed at where Go Gun-Hee was supposed to be but was surprised that he passed 'through' the invincible barrier.
"I separated Chairman from our reality in a dimension I just made. Let's say we are in 3rd dimension, he is in 4th dimension right now. He can see us, but he cannot interact with us, he cannot touch objects but yet he can observe us, as if we are nothing but a movie to him. But we cannot see him, that is i am an exception, since I created that dimension it can work as a prison or best spying spell where no one would be able to detect me if I decide to use it." And with another click of the fingers, dimension around Go Gun-Hee shattered as all black and white around him turned into colors again.
Go Gun-Hee sighed before picking up his suit.
"Those powers are too powerfull, you can heal anyone, you can spy on anyone, you can trap anyone, you can defend anyone. What else do you have in your arsenal?"
Sung Jin-Woo outstretched her right hand for a second before manifesting something black on her palms, it accelerated before it turned into a black orb with yellow ring around.
"I can create black holes!"
She threw the small black hole at the center of the room before that same black hole expanded before it started pulling everyone with exception of Sung Jin-Woo into it, it easily destroyed half of the room in less than a second before it was dispelled.
"Are you seriou! What else you have, black holes, reality manipulation! What more is there for me to write!" Despaired Tester, poor guy, even Chairman and Woo Jin-Chul had to admit it, this was getting absurd with every single second.
"I can throw dimensions in small cube-like forms at people!" In an instant, hundreds of small palm-sized cubes appeared behind her, and as a test, she dropped on of them in front of Go Gun-Hee and effect was instant.
It was heavy enough to pass through hard metal and dirt till it stopped at 10 meters deep, everyone just looked flabbergasted at that.
At the end, she was categorized as Mage Class with abilities of Support and Healer classes.
