*Chapter 2: The Secret of Mana*
I spent the next few months with Lylia and Hope, and we became closer friends. We explored the surroundings of Rosehold and Moonhold, and I learned a lot about the history and culture of the two countries.
One day, as we were walking through the forest, we stumbled upon a mysterious woman. She was wearing a long, black dress, and her eyes seemed to glow.
"Who are you?" Hope asked suspiciously.
"I am Lady Aria," the woman replied. "I am a master of magic, and I have come to train Athur."
I was surprised. "Me? Why me?"
Lady Aria smiled. "You have great potential, Athur. You are a natural talent when it comes to magic."
I didn't know what to say. I had never heard of magic before, and I didn't know what it was.
"What is magic?" I asked Lady Aria.
"Magic is the art of using mana," Lady Aria explained. "Mana is a energy that is present in all living things. When used correctly, it can be used to do incredible things."
I was fascinated. "That sounds like Super power ," I said.
Lady Aria smiled. "It is not Super power, Athur. It's magic. And I will teach you how to use it."
I was excited. I wanted to learn how to use magic. I wanted to see what I could do with it.
"Let's get started," Lady Aria said. "But first, you must learn how to control your mana. Focus your mind, feel the mana inside you, and then... release it."
I nodded. "I'm ready."
Lady Aria smiled. "Then let's begin."
I closed my eyes and focused my mind. I felt the mana inside me, a warm, tingling sensation. And then, I released it.
A bright light filled the air, and I felt the mana coursing through me. I opened my eyes and saw that Lady Aria was smiling.
"Well done, Athur," she said. "You have taken the first step on the path to becoming a true mage."
I was thrilled. I had never felt so alive, so powerful. I knew that I had a lot to learn, but I was ready for the challenge.
But little did I know, my journey as a magician was only just beginning, and it would take me down a path of discovery, danger, and adventure.
