○Threads of Existence:
All living beings are connected to the "Threads of Existence", an invisible metaphysical strands that dictate their fate, potential, and limits. The stronger or more complex the thread, the more potential they have-but most can never escape their predetermined path.
○The Weave:
A layered existence resembling a tapestry woven by the Looms of Totality, an ancient divine mechanism that governs fate, time, and reality itself.
○Calamities:
Calamities are monsters and creatures that exist within various realms and planes of existence and are tied to the Loom and the Threads of Fate. However, unlike humans or gods, these creatures' Threads reflect their nature, power and role within the cosmic system.
○Major Realms/Planes:
Terraflux(The human mortal realm), Skyreach(Realm of ascended mortals), Eternexus(Home of the Saints), Abyss of the Unwritten(Realm of totality's mistakes), Throne of Loom(Home to the Sovereigns).
○Thread:
Threads are the individual strands of fate that exists within the Loom(cosmic fabric of reality). They are what bind each being and event to their predetermined path. Each thread represents the destiny of an entity, from mortals to gods. The nature of a thread varies depending on the individual, their actions, and their fate rank.
○Aether Keys:
The Aether (mystical energy flowing through the realms) is central to the power system. Cultivators gather Aether from their environment crafting Aether through their threads to create Aether Keys which in turn gives access to rifts/roots giving beings access to realms outside of their own.

○Thread Grades:
Each person is assigned a Thread Grade at age 6 during a Fate Ceremony, where seers read the individual's thread from the loom's echo using ritual-tech devices. Thread Grades determine a person's social status, opportunities, influence, and future path.
