Iram mille Noctes/The Red Queen: [Overblot Riddle]
The leade- ahem.
The one probably in charge.
Like giving orders, even though most of the time is hardly listened to.
Leo: [Overblot Leona]
our former lazy lion.
Still very lazy so that hasn't changed
(Probably cares more than he admits.)
Obsidian/Neo Sea Witch/Octopus ("Mami-zul" "MommyZul") [Overblot Azul]
Has a strange protective streak for Malleus. (Or possibly children in general)
Made the mother basically… and enjoys(?) it???
Rajahni/Snake: [Overblot Jamil]
A "mother hen" figure and hates it.
Refuses to explain why.
Tries to be rebellious and chaotic.
Fails 'epically'.
Sirius/The Violet Queen: [Overblot Vil]
Charming, semi-respectful, and a walking textbook on etiquette behavior and… smiling.
Annoys Leo greatly.
Stratigós/UND3RWOR1D K1NG/Digital King: [Overblot Idia]
[REDACTED]
Almost never around but always monitoring…
Malleus/"Dragomir": [ Overblot you-know who]
A cute tweenager now.
The others have basically become parents.
Doesn't want to confess what he remembers for fear of losing his new friends/ family (??)

Scientist Boris Lexington spoke into a tape recorder, his tone dripping with both curiosity and boredom. His left hand listlessly traced line after line of his notes.
"Log code 365594-07, in relation to subject codename FrAnKeNsTeIn the Monster. Stubborn as he is, and silent as usual, however with each passing session I'm still uncovering new data. In fact, today I -" he began before he was interrupted by a new sound.
The desk he sat at was in front of the wall that acted as a boundary between his office and the monster's... Cell. Slightly off from the center of the wall was a intercom, the same for the monster's side of the wall. So they could speak to each other, should the monster have any complaints that need to be... Handled. But of course, the monster never used his end, only listened to Boris ramble on his own end.
Today the microphone intercom on his subject's side crackled to life for perhaps the first time, initially broadcasting an eerie tone.
Perhaps akin to clearing his throat to get his attention.
Boris will not admit he jumped out of his seat at the sound. Not readily, at least. He pushed his blonde hair back into place and fixed his protective glasses which hung from his neck.
".... End of log," he turned the tape recorder off and stood up, deciding to address the monster, now that it was addressing him.
"So, you're ready to talk now are you?" He asked, turning on his own microphone.
"I.... Posses a, question" it sounded much like a child, bright and eager to participate in class.
Boris glowered at his desk, steeling himself not to be sympathetic.
He feigned intrigue and amusement. "Go ahead,"
"Do you feel anything?" its voice both shifted and took on an almost feminine tone abruptly.
"This question regards... What exactly?" Boris asked, biting back a condescending chuckle. Of course their first conversation was like a teacher talking to a child. How could he have expected much more beyond that?
"You, stick us, strike us, tear off our flesh," it returned to sounding like a curious child again.
"Can you feel ittt??" Its voice both distorted and deepened simultaneously.
He frowned. "There is a secret inside you FrAnKeNsTeIn, more important than you could hope to understand,"
He paused but the monster didn't interrupt.
"I cut and prod and burn away at it and I get closer with each session. So speak, "
"Or don't," he said coolly.
"Fight,"
"or give in,"
He could almost envision the monster's confused stare at him. Truly it was a child. A shame it was a monster that can never see the light of day.
"Regardless, i learn something new about you every day," he commented seemingly in a warning tone.
"It excites me," Boris chuckled as he remarked, a twisted joy now creeping in his tone.
"Thank you," the monster repeated finally after a long silence.
"You... Thank me?" Boris raised an eyebrow, his blue grey eyes wavering with distrust. He subconsciously drew his pristine white lab coat closer to himself. As if the garment would defend him from... *Him* should he manage to get free.
"Absolutely!" The distorted voice took on a cheerful tone. The wall separating the two shuddered.
"I learn something new about you .... Every day," the monster parroted in Boris Lexington's voice, albeit slightly distorted.
Though his prisoner did not speak again, the interaction left Boris trembling.
~THREE YEARS EARLIER~
Yuuta Takamiya POV
Riddle sat in the middle of an empty white room. The walls looked puffy and almost soft, his white clothes contrasting his red hair, flame glowing eye, and ink covered face, greatly. I didn't have to see the multiple buckles on his jacket to know it was a straightjacket. His half mad face jerked up at me and he grinned. The make-up from his Overblot looked as intricate as ever and he didn't look a day older than he had when the incident occurred. "Did you bring any tea?" He asked softly, voice hoarse.
"I'm sorry I couldn't save you," I said solemnly. As I always did. He snapped; screaming to be released. "I WANT OUT!!! I WANT TO BE FREE!! LET ME GO OUTSIDE!!!"
I flinched at his volume.
"Riddle it's for your own good that you be here," I pleaded, kneeling on the floor to be at his level. He continued screaming. Struggling to get out the straightjacket.
I stared aghast as he fell over and seemed to morph into Leona laying limply on the floor. He wasn't in a straightjacket, probably because he wasn't putting up any kind of struggle or any effort to get loose. He just seemed to quietly accept things as they were. It made me feel sick.
A bang caused me to look up, to my left. Azul was banging hard on the wide window that must've been made with reinforced glass, hard enough to make faint vibrations and slight cracking sounds. He was probably not hitting as hard as he could, likely just hard enough to get attention. The overblot ink markings around his eyes drew more attention to the unsettling ice blue look to them. I wondered for a moment why Azul wasn't in a straightjacket but I realized from the torn buckles and straps that he'd ripped out of it.
Turning almost completely around, I saw Vil who sat forlornly in front of a mirror, his back to it as a picture of Neige Leblanche half burned. Jamil, too was in a straight jacket, a few locks of his hair turned into hissing snakes.
Idia Shroud and Malleus were....
My world of view faded to black.
"It was that dream again." I sat up on my desk properly and rubbed at the bags under my eyes. "I could use some more coffee." I half muttered and half remarked.
Five years.
It's been five years since everything happened since the seven overblotted boys were whisked off to a special containment facility.
I want to assume that they were taken to the best possible place for them but I don't believe they are okay with the situation. Being restrained and carted off, it was horrifying to watch.
Boys-teens with futures ahead of them. Even Leona and Idia despite their self doubt. But I'd failed to save them. I'd been given the title of Beast Tamer but Crowley failed to explain how I was supposed to apply this to Berserk, emotional guys my own age. Of course, Crowley didn't explain a lot of things. That was normal. But my not taking him seriously and dismissing his vague and evasive mannerisms.. could I really not be the one responsible for the fact that those seven people have no way to go home?
Now that I've graduated, more or less, from Night Raven College, I've joined a Police Force, a small one in a city in the Queendom of Roses. Sort of my way to apologize. It wasn't that long of a car ride from the main facility base housing five of the overblotters but I could never bring myself to fully visit. At most all I could do was approach the main entrance and stand there internally debating.
Abruptly around two thirty, the police officers and detectives seemed to jump into a frenzy about something.
Curious I grabbed the arm of a passing officer who looked irritated at the contact.
After apologizing, I asked what was going on.
"We just got a call from the facility informing us that those kids from the incident five years ago, they just broke out!" He said and immediately went on to his desk to call up his partner.
I couldn't hide my shock as my mouth fell open.
"They broke a loose??"
