Elira returns to the North, where the elemental kings visit her in dreams, offering her final guidance.
Ignis tells her, "Flame without control burns. But you've tempered your heart with kindness."
Terran adds, "You stand firm not for power, but for peace."
Umbra, the most cryptic, says only, "Soon, you'll have to choose between the world and your heart."
Troubled, Elira spends nights meditating, walking the snowy cliffs, or listening to the wind in Kael's gardens. She teaches magic to Northern children and introduces sustainable farming techniques from her old world. Slowly, she reshapes the North with hope.
Kael finds her one night, barefoot in the snow, creating a ring of fire that doesn't melt the ice. She's laughing.
"You shouldn't be out here without boots," he says gruffly.
"And miss the chance to impress the coldest man alive?" she teases.
He sighs and wraps his coat around her shoulders.
"You're warm enough for both of us."
