Chapter 1 - The world of yogurd

welcome to yogurd

A world where mana flows like wind, and magic thrives in every corner.

Unlike Earth, technology here is stagnant—forgotten. Replaced by the force that governs life itself: mana.

Hunters- The chosen few

Not everyone can use mana. Only a rare kind of being can absorb it from their surroundings. These people are known as Hunters.

A Hunter's journey begins the moment they absorb mana for the first time. But it's not just about absorbing—it's about how their body processes it.

Once mana enters a Hunter, it travels through their veins but always flows to one place: the heart.

The heart is the core.

It spins the mana, condenses it, and converts it into something far more powerful: magic.

This cycle never stops. Mana is absorbed, stored, then released, again and again. Even in death—when a Hunter or a monster dies—the mana stored in their heart is released back into the surroundings, returning to the cycle.

This is the law of mana.

Hunters Ranks

Not all Hunters are equal. Their strength is ranked, and these ranks define their place in the world:

E-Rank – The weakest. Barely able to enter a dungeon.

D-Rank – Fragile and often overlooked.

C-Rank – The most common and balanced rank.

B-Rank – Skilled enough to handle high-level dungeons.

A-Rank – A force to be reckoned with. Feared, respected.

S-Rank – The strongest known. They are rare, powerful, and considered the treasures of kingdoms.

There also exist Elite ranks (Elite E to Elite S), which are special designations given to Hunters who surpass the average capabilities of their current rank. For example, an Elite B-Rank might rival a standard A-Rank in strength.

---

Magic - concerterated mana

Magic is nothing but refined mana.

When Hunters concentrate the mana in their hearts, they can release it in various ways—creating fire, ice, wind, or even healing energy. The form it takes depends on the Hunter's class and willpower.

But remember: mana never stays still. It flows in and out of every living being, and the heart is simply the vessel that channels its power.

---

Dungeons - Link between worlds

Dungeons are gateways. They form between two worlds: the world of Yogurd and the Planet of Monsters.

When a dungeon spawns, it opens a portal on Yogurd, linking it to a zone filled with creatures and chaos. These portals are powered by the boss monsters within. If the boss is slain, the portal collapses—closing fully after about five hours.

But if the boss survives?

The dungeon continues to leak monsters, and in one month, a full-scale invasion begins.

That's why Hunters exist.

They enter dungeons.

They slay monsters.

They defeat bosses.

And they close the portals—before it's too late.

Dungeons also have ranks (E to S) and types: Fire, Water, Earth, Wind… and the most dangerous of all—Mixed Dungeons, which contain every element inside.

Within each dungeon lies a mini-boss, halfway through. Only by clearing it can a Hunter party move forward

--

False gates

Sometimes, dungeons appear weaker than they are.

A gate might be labeled C-Rank, but inside, the boss could be B-Rank or higher. These are known as False Gates—and they are deadly traps.

Many Hunters have died because they underestimated what lay within.

---

The Mission of the Hunters

For over 2000 years, since the first dungeon appeared, this has been the Hunters' duty:

> "Enter the gate. Defeat the boss. Collapse the portal. Save Yogurd."

If they fail, the dungeon invades.

If they succeed, the world survives another day.

Classess The roles of hunters

Every Hunter has a Class, based on how they use their mana.

Tank – The shield of the team. They fight on the front lines, absorbing damage and protecting their party. They wield shields, thick armor, and high defense skills.

Healer – The heart of the group. They restore wounds, cure poison, and keep the party alive. Always protected at the center of the formation.

Mage – Masters of destructive magic. They channel mana into fire, water, wind, and more. Some use wands, staffs—or nothing at all. Rare mages can wield multiple elements.

Fighter – Warriors who infuse their weapons with mana. Their strength, speed, and endurance are unmatched. They thrive in close combat.

Alchemist – Crafters of potions, poisons, and power-ups. Though not frontline fighters, their skills are vital. Some alchemists can even enhance weapons or armor with magic.

---

Skills - The true weapons

Magic lets you fight.

But skills?

Skills let you survive.

Skills are special abilities that manifest when a Hunter grows stronger—through battle, challenge, or awakening.

They're not just learned. They're earned.

Every skill is ranked:

E-Rank – Weak and basic.

D-Rank – Limited use.

C-Rank – Standard and reliable.

B-Rank – Tactical and powerful.

A-Rank – Rare and deadly.

S-Rank – Legendary. A single S-Rank skill can destroy armies.

Some Hunters awaken common skills. Others, unique skills never seen before.

Each class develops different types of skills:

A Tank may awaken Iron Body or Shield Wall.

A Mage might get Flame Lance or Tornado Spear.

A Healer could gain Mass Heal or Cleanse.

A Fighter might develop Mana Slash or Berserker Mode.

An Alchemist could unlock Elixir Creation or Explosive Flask.

The voice of the world

But whenever a skill is awakened, everyone hears it:

> "You have gained a new skill."

> "Skill [Mana Step] – Rank C."

> "Skill [Fireburst] – Evolved to A-Rank."

This voice is not from any person.

It is the Voice of the World.

A mysterious force that echoes through every living being the moment they grow stronger.

The kings of yogurd

Yogurd is not united. It is ruled by many kings, each o

Overseeing their lands and Hunters.

Some fight for control.

Others ally to survive.

But in the end, one truth remains:

> The Hunters are the only shield between Yogurd…

…and extinction.
