Chapter 5 - Chapter 4: The Mission Briefing

Andy followed Luna and Thorne to the front of the guild hall, where a large map of the forest was displayed. Guildmaster Orion stood before the map, his eyes scanning the room.

"Welcome, Kaito," Orion said, his voice booming through the hall. "I'm glad to see you've joined the Forest Guild. We have a mission briefing for you, and I think you'll find it...interesting."

Andy's eyes locked onto the map, his mind racing with questions. What kind of mission was this? What did the guild need him to do?

Orion gestured to the map, where a section of the forest was highlighted. "We've had reports of a dark creature terrorizing a nearby village," he explained. "The villagers are afraid, and we need someone to investigate and put an end to the creature's activities."

Andy's eyes widened as he studied the map. He had encountered dark creatures in the game, but he had never thought about the impact they had on the villagers.

Luna stepped forward, her eyes shining with excitement. "I'll be going with you, Kaito," she said. "I've been studying the dark creatures, and I think I can help you navigate the forest and avoid any dangers."

Andy's heart skipped a beat as he looked at Luna. He was glad to have her by his side, but he was also nervous about the mission.

Thorne smiled, seeming to sense Andy's concerns. "Don't worry, Kaito," he said. "You'll be well-prepared for this mission. We'll provide you with all the necessary gear and training."

Orion nodded, his eyes serious. "This is a high-priority mission, Kaito. The villagers are counting on us to protect them. Are you ready to accept this challenge?"

Andy's mind was racing with questions, but he knew one thing for sure - he was ready to face this challenge head-on.

He nodded, a sense of determination building within him. "Yes, I'm ready," he said.

Orion smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Excellent," he said. "You'll be leaving immediately. Luna, please make sure Kaito is equipped with everything he needs."

Luna nodded, her eyes shining with excitement. "I'll get everything ready, Guildmaster," she said.

As Andy followed Luna to the guild's armory, he felt a sense of anticipation building within him. He was ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead, and he was eager to prove himself as a member of the Forest Guild.
