God Realm – Edge of the Astral Plane
Not every god accepted Ren's presence with silent dread. In the outer reaches of the divine plane, where stars bled into silver voids, whispers of rebellion stirred.
The God of War, crimson-armored and scarred by millennia of conquest, slammed his gauntleted fist against his obsidian table. "He's no god. He's a mortal tyrant cloaked in shadow. He thinks a few stolen powers and bedazzled women make him a ruler."
Beside him, the Goddess of Vengeance, tall and pale with hair like black flame, sneered. "He's weakened the Council. Even the Spirit Rain fool knelt before him. We must strike before his roots grow deeper."
The God of War rose. "Then we declare it. War upon the Shadow Monarch."
Shadow Citadel – Training Grounds
Ren stood in the center of the marble square, watching as Mei and Bi Ji sparred. Their movements were graceful yet deadly—each enhanced by their connection to Ren's dimension and the powers he had nurtured in them.
Off to the side, Yuexue meditated, her presence now so cold and clear that even divine beasts trembled in her aura.
The gates opened behind him.
The Goddess of Spirit Rain stepped in. "Ren. War is coming."
He turned to face her, expression unreadable. "Let them come."
"They won't come one at a time," she warned. "They'll come together. With armies. With conviction."
Ren didn't flinch. "Then it's time I choose my generals."
That Night – Council of Shadows
In the heart of the Pocket Hunting Dimension, within a hall grown from black crystal and silver mist, Ren summoned the women closest to him.
Mei, now cloaked in a mantle of starlight.Bi Ji, clad in armor grown from living jade.Yuexue, silent and sharp as the coldest blade. The Goddess of Spirit Rain, calm and luminous.
"You've each followed me—not because I demanded it, but because you chose to."
Ren looked at each of them. "I never intended to rule over gods. But I won't run from the battle they bring. I need more than allies. I need leaders. Generals. Queens."
A hush filled the air. Then Mei stepped forward, grinning mischievously. "So you finally admit you're building an empire."
"I never denied it," Ren replied with a smirk. "I'm just choosing the right people to help me shape it."
War Preparations Begin
The Shadow Army, grown from the remains of ancient soul beasts and fallen divine warriors, began to stir. With every passing day, Ren's domain grew larger within the dimensional rift—an empire within the seams of reality.
And with it, his lovers and allies grew stronger.
Ren took time to train each of them personally—one by one. Not just in power, but in heart. He didn't just want strength. He wanted loyalty. Love. Purpose.
For every woman he brought into his life, he gave something back—awakening their true potential, letting them stand tall at his side. Not behind. Not beneath.
Meanwhile – At the Divine Rebellion's Stronghold
The Goddess of Vengeance prepared her blades. "We strike his Citadel in three days."
The God of War nodded. "Crush the Shadow Empire before it becomes divine law."
But they did not realize…
Ren already knew.
And he was ready.
Back at the Citadel – The Calm Before the Storm
That night, beneath a sky of shifting auroras, Ren stood with his closest four. The bonds between them had grown unbreakable.
Mei leaned against his side. "They'll throw everything at you, you know."
"I'm counting on it," he said quietly. "Because when the old world breaks…"
He looked toward the horizon, where the divine war would soon begin.
"…we'll build something better from the ashes."
