Chapter 77 - Chapter 77 – Fall of a Divine Throne

Mid-Battle – War-Torn Skies Above Douluo Continent

Lightning tore through the clouds as god clashed with shadow, steel against darkness, light against abyss. The sky itself was split in halves—one golden and pure, the other a roiling void of black and violet flame.

The Shura God stood bloodied, disbelief carved into his divine features. His once-untouchable sword, Celestial Judgment, was chipped. Cracks webbed his crimson armor.

Across from him floated Ren, shadow wings spread wide, the black crown of the Monarch glowing with ancient, malevolent energy. His gaze—spinning Sharingan encased within a ring of shadow sigils—was calm. Ruthless. Final.

"You gods always assumed the world was yours to judge," Ren said, voice carrying across the battlefield. "But tell me—who judges a god?"

The Shura God charged one last time.

The heavens roared.

Ren moved like a storm unchained—teleporting behind the god in a flicker of black light, blade striking down with enough force to shatter the sound barrier. The impact rocked the entire continent.

The Shura God stumbled, divine ichor spraying across the clouds, staining them red.

Below – Spirit Empire's Command Tower

Hu Liena, Zhu Zhuqing, and Ning Rongrong stood on a high spire, overlooking the battle with calm intensity. All were clad in imperial battle robes infused with shadow power. Beside them, the newly awakened Beast Empresses, once 100,000-year soul beasts, now stood in their human forms—graceful, deadly, and utterly loyal to Ren.

Bi Ji. Zi Ji. The Ice Phoenix. Hell Civet. Titan Snow Devil King.

Every one of them watched as the heavens burned.

"He's going to end him," said Zhu Zhuqing, a hint of satisfaction in her cool voice.

Ning Rongrong gave a soft smile. "Of course. He's not fighting for justice... he's fighting because he can. Because no one will stop him."

Final Duel – Divine Throne Room in the Sky

The Shura God retreated, fleeing toward his divine sanctuary—a floating throne of blades and light. But Ren followed, stepping into his shadow and emerging in the heart of the divine realm.

The gods there gasped.

The Goddess of Life moved to interfere—but Ren's gaze alone froze her in place. Shadows erupted around her, pinning her to the divine walls. Bibi Dong stepped through behind him, smirking.

"This is not your war anymore," she told the goddess coldly.

Ren approached the throne.

"You sat on this for eons," he said, placing his hand on the divine seat. "You watched mortals suffer, judged them by laws you never followed yourselves. That era ends now."

The Shura God, on one knee, blood trailing from his lips, looked up.

"You'll bring chaos."

Ren's eyes glowed.

"I'll bring truth."

He plunged his blade into the divine core of the throne. With a blast of black and violet, the divine essence shattered. The throne broke apart.

The Shura God screamed—and in a final, thunderous explosion of shadow and light, the god was no more.

Moments Later – Silence Over the Battlefield

The divine sky broke like glass, and the mortals below felt the weight lift. Gods could die. Power could shift. Balance could be broken.

Ren floated down, divine essence trailing behind him like a cloak of stars.

And behind him, the broken shards of a divine throne scattered across the wind.

The army of shadows knelt.

The world watched in awe and fear.

And Ren—calm, unreadable—spoke four words:

"The first throne falls."
