Choy traveled deep into the Forbidden Forest, hoping to prove himself by facing danger alone. But he didn't expect to encounter the Gura'ka, a mythical serpent-like beast with eyes that glowed like burning stars.
It attacked with relentless fury, and despite all the lessons Choy had learned, he was powerless. His sword couldn't even scratch the beast's scales. Choy was overwhelmed, lying bloodied and helpless on the forest floor, expecting death to claim him.
Then, in a flash of light, his father, King Jang Ho, appeared. With one swift strike, he fought the beast back. But in the chaos, the beast's deadly strike hit the King.
King Jang Ho fell to the ground, mortally wounded, and with his last breath, whispered, "Live, Choy... for your own future..."
Choy could do nothing but watch as his father died before him. The one man who believed in him was gone, and Choy felt like he had nothing left.
