.....

~New York, Queens~

In a remote, abandoned factory, a group of hooligans dressed in urban wear were kicking and punching a pitiful figure lying on the ground.

"Trying to play hero? Take a good look at yourself! Who do you think you are, daring to stand against us?"

The leader of the thugs shouted aggressively, his eye swollen and bruised... It was pretty clear someone had landed a solid punch on him.

"You're way out of your league! We roll with Frank's crew, even the cops don't mess with us! And you had the guts to throw hands?!"

The other thugs jeered, their laughter wild and mocking. The "Frank" they referred to was Frank D'Amico, a notorious West Coast drug lord with terrifying influence.

These thugs were just low-level lackeys in his organization.

"I was trying to do you a favor, Sean. I offered you a spot, and you spat in my face. How stupid can you be?!" The gang leader spat on the ground.

The reason for this beating? Sean had refused to sell drugs for them, earning their hatred. They had ambushed him on the street and dragged him here for a brutal lesson.

"What? Still got something to say?"

The boy called "Sean" glared defiantly, his black hair plastered to his forehead, face smeared with blood. His limbs were pinned down by several thugs, leaving him completely immobilized.

"Looks like you need a little more convincing... let's make sure you know who you're dealing with!"

With a sinister laugh, the gang leader raised his foot and stomped hard on Sean's head, grinding his face into the ground!

With each vicious kick, the stubborn boy's breathing grew weaker, his movements stilling.

Then, the light in his eyes dimmed like a flame flickering out...

"Boss… I think this kid has stopped moving..." Before long, a teen with a nose ring muttered nervously.

The gang leader froze. The boy's face was battered beyond recognition, drenched in blood, his body lifeless.

"Damn it! He couldn't even take a beating. Whatever, let's get out of here…" The gang leader tried to mask his panic.

Though he boasted about being part of a powerful drug syndicate, the truth was, he was just a small-time crook. As long as the cops didn't catch him, he'd be fine... but if this turned into a murder case? Those damn cops would throw him in prison for sure.

The thugs fled in a hurry, not even bothering to hide the body...

The abandoned factory, long devoid of human activity, was left with only Sean's motionless form on the ground. His once-vibrant young body grew colder by the minute...

...

The sun dipped below the horizon, and night slowly enveloped the city.

As darkness draped the sky, a streak of white light suddenly flashed across like a massive ball of lightning, swirling with an eerie glow.

As if guided by some mysterious force, it shot toward the abandoned factory, circling the area before plunging straight into the boy's body.

"Ugh…" The cold lifeless body suddenly twitched, letting out a faint groan.

His eyes snapped open, pupils blazing with a fierce white light.

"Where… am I?"

The boy who should have been dead slowly sat up, his muddled mind clearing as an unknown force organized his chaotic thoughts.

Scattered fragments of memory gradually pieced themselves together, "Sean Cyphers… parents died in an accident… Captain America, Stark Industries, Peter Parker… What the heck is all this?!" The bloodied boy frowned.

In the memories of this body's previous owner, he seemed to have stumbled upon some bizarre information, and it gave him a sinking feeling...

"No way… Did I end up in that world where freaks roam everywhere and overpowered lunatics are a dime a dozen?!" Sean cursed under his breath.

Thinking back, it was entirely possible. He had been playing a virtual character fighting game at home, and after clearing the final stage, his computer screen flashed white... next thing he knew, he had been reborn into this unlucky kid named Sean.

"This is a nightmare... Any other world would've been better than this one... Mutants, superheroes, evil villains, alien lifeforms, interdimensional gods… This is hell-level difficulty right from the start..." Sean couldn't help but complain.

If his suspicions were correct, then living a peaceful life as an ordinary person in this world would be nothing short of a fantasy.

Forget about the supervillains who kept trying to destroy the world on a whim. Even if he just had the bad luck of getting caught in the crossfire of a superhero brawl or a civil war, he'd end up as collateral damage, just another faceless casualty in the news, a name in the obituaries.

"Talk about rotten luck..."

Just as he was wallowing in frustration, Sean noticed something intriguing... A sphere of white light hovered in his mind.

Peering through its hazy glow, he saw a familiar interface... a list of virtual characters, some grayed out (which, in the game, meant they were locked), others shimmering in dazzling colors. When his consciousness reached out, data flickered across his vision.

"Well, well… When one door closes, another opens. Life's ups and downs sure are full of surprises." A grin of delight spread across Sean's face.

The virtual interface in his mind was from the fighting game he had been playing, one that featured characters from comics and movies, allowing players to accumulate 'Victory Points' to unlock powerful equipment.

Ironically, the final boss he had defeated before crossing over was a character from this very world. He hadn't even claimed his reward before getting dragged here...

[Dear player, you have unclaimed victory rewards. Would you like to collect them now?]

A line of text appeared clearly before him.

Sean's heart leaped. This was exactly what he needed.

The white light flickered rapidly as one formidable reward after another flashed by. Sean's eyes widened, his emotions a mix of excitement and dread.

<<...Mark Armor (upgradeable, convertible models): a masterpiece by Tony Stark, aka Iron Man...>>

<<...Super-Soldier Serum: enhances all physical attributes to their peak, with varying effects depending on the user. The only successful subject: Captain America...>>

<<...Vibranium Armor: forged from near-indestructible metal, capable of absorbing massive damage...>>

Sean watched as rewards from this world cycled before him, his mood swinging like a rollercoaster.

Due to his transmigration, some of the powerful gear from other worlds remained locked and unusable for now.

"Eh, might as well wish for the Infinity Stones while I'm at it," the reborn traveler mused sarcastically.

*Ding!*

A crisp chime sounded as the white light finally stopped spinning, settling on a vial of glowing liquid.

The golden substance inside shimmered with astonishing brilliance, swirling with immense energy.

『Stellar Elixir (Incomplete)』

Sean froze...

After all that, he ended up with some mysterious golden potion that didn't even have a description?

Barely suppressing the urge to curse, he retrieved the vial from the game interface. Warmth spread through his palm as the radiant liquid materialized.

Staring at his "prize", Sean hesitated for only a moment before downing it in one gulp.

In a world teeming with danger at every turn, he couldn't afford to pass up any chance to grow stronger. He refused to remain an ordinary person, not when there were superhumans soaring through the skies, saving the world, bathed in the adoration of millions.

Sean didn't want to be just another face in the crowd, looking up at them in awe. When danger loomed over him, when enemies stood in his way, he couldn't just sit back and wait for a superhero to save him.

"AHHH—!!!" The moment the golden liquid touched his throat, excruciating pain obliterated his consciousness.

His entire body felt as if it were being torn apart... veins, nerves, every single cell crushed under an overwhelming force. His mouth opened in a silent scream.

Golden flames seemed to erupt from Sean's eyes as an unimaginable energy surged through him, saturating his frail human form, reshaping it from within...

...

Night had fully fallen...

Inside the abandoned factory, a human boy was undergoing a transformation unlike anything this world had ever seen...
