Zephyr took Angel to a huge plaza that was crowded with people going in and out. In the plaza were multiple teleportation gates but much smaller than the one Angel used to get to this world.
Seeing the plaza filled with gates he couldn't help he couldn't help but ask "Why are there so many gates here?"
"These are inter-city gates they can be used to get to different districts in the city."
Zephyr led them to a line that had over 100 people queued up.
"If you haven't noticed Aurora City is huge, it has a population of 150 million. These gates makes it easier to get around instead of using a vehicle and get stuck in traffic."
The line they were on moved at a fast pace and soon it was their turn to go through the portal.
Zephyr handed the portal attendant what looked like crystals. The attendant then signaled for them to go through the portal.
Stepping up to the portal Angel was feeling that hunger again but the feeling was weaker this time.
He quickly suppressed the feeling 'I have to figure out what that weird sensation is'
Stepping into the portal he felt the spatial energy coursing through him and a second later he was out in another plaza but this one seemed to have people coming out of the portals instead of going into them.
Sensing Zephyr coming out of the portal Angel turned around.
"Come on kid we're going to that way."
As they walked Angel could see shops all around.
"So many different kinds of store everywhere you look."
"This here is the shopping district all the stores in Aurora City are situated here including the Merchant's Guild building."
About ten minutes later they reached a clothing shop.
"Let's go in this place has some nice clothes I take my kids here all the time." Zephyr smiled.
"You have children?"
"Yeah I got three adorable kids around your age and a beautiful wife , aren't I a lucky man hahaha." Zephyr laughed as he walked into the store
"Yeah sounds nice." muttered Angel following behind.
The interior of the store was nice and clean as soon as he walked in Angel smelled a fresh aroma waft pass him.
Taking a deep breath he stood there enjoying the scent.
Zephyr walked up to a retail clerk.
"Hi may my name is Erina how may I assist you today?"
"Nice to meet you Erina I would like two pair of clothes for my friend here."
Erina looked at Angel " Do you have any specific request young man?"
"I'll take anything you recommend as long as it's comfortable and easy to move around in."
Angel had no specific interests in the style of clothes he wore as he had never really care for such things while living in the streets.
Confirming the clients needs Erina guided Angel to a fitting room.
After trying on multiple pair of clothes he found a two sets of clothes that he found were comfortable.
They thanked Erina and headed back out.
"You hungry there's a nice restaurant not far from here that serves spirit cuisine."
Angel agreed immediately "Sure I really haven't eaten anything these past few days."
In a nice street not to busy stood a four story building with a sign that read Tranquilla Portum.
As soon as they walked in they had someone attend to them.
"Welcome to the Tranquilla Portum which level will you be dining at today?"
Zephyr raised three fingers " The third level."
They were then led up to the third floor by a server and seated at a table that had a nice view of the outside.
"What will you like to order?" Said the server pulling out a notepad from out of nowhere.
Angel browsed at the menu with all kinds of food he'd never heard of before.
"What do you recommend Zephyr?"
"You should try the braised boar ribs it's from a level 3 spirit beast and its one of my favorite dishes."
"Sure sounds good to me."
"Alright can we get two orders of the braised boar meat with a side of stir fried rice ."
The waiter left after getting the order.
" So what do you plan to do now that you're in Aurora city?"
"I was hoping to join the adventurers guild so I can earn money while traveling around and familiarizing myself more with this continent."
"The adventurers guild is in the business district we can go there tomorrow to sign you up, you can stay at my place tonight I'm sure my wife will be happy to have guest over."
Angel stood up and bowed "I can't thank you and Faelix enough for all the help you've given me."
"It's no problem now take a seat people are starting to stare at us." Zephyr smiled awkwardly as all the people in the restaurant looked over.
Sitting back down they waited for the meal to come out.
When the waiter finally came over with the food, Angel couldn't help but marvel at the food that was in front of him.
Suddenly his eyes glowed showing an aura around the food.
Angel started to dig in and soon as he took his first bite he could feel a mellow sensation flow through his body.
It felt like warm energy coursing through his body.
"What is this feeling" he muttered
"Its tspirit beast meat helping you refine your animus." Zephyr said as he took a bite of his food savoring the taste.
Angel wanted to ask how but the taste was so enrapturing that he kept on digging in.
Finishing up their meal they left the restaurant.
"It's starting to get dark let's head to my house."
