I am the Sky, not the one of clouds and stars, but the eternal witness above all time.
Long before your stories began, I was there, watching, waiting, remembering.I have seen the rise of cities carved from light and metal... and the fall of empires forgotten by dust.I've heard the heartbeat of machines, and the whispered dreams of mortals.
I do not sleep. I do not speak. Yet, I know.I know the tale that stirs once more, the tale of Aezric Thalorven.A spark in the dark. A thread in the storm. His story is not new to me. It has echoed before, in different names and faces…But this time, the winds shift. This time, the cycle stirs.
Come closer, and listen.Let me show you what the world has forgotten to feel.Let the legend begin again.
Hey there, till now you've guessed, right?Yes, it's me again, the one who knows. So, where was I? Aha, yes! Before the threads of fate unravel, let's meet the boy they cling to.
The legend begins with a boy.
He wasn't a prince. He wasn't a warrior. Just a kid, one among many, living in Neuraxis Prime, the beating core of human advancement. He had no idea how deeply his name would echo through time.
He had simply passed an entrance exam, a difficult one, sure, but even he wasn't sure how he'd made it in.Maybe fate pulled some strings. Maybe destiny played a hidden card. Or maybe he was just lucky.
Today was the beginning of something new.
The entrance ceremony at the Aetheric Nexus Institute of Tech & Evolution, the most prestigious academy in the known world, was about to begin.
Date: C4.Y23.D100
"Wake up, Aezric! Wake up! It's time for your college entrance ceremony!"Aezric's mom called out from the kitchen."If you don't get up now, you're going to be late!"
The bell chimed through the house as Aezric jolted upright from his bed, "Bam!"
"What time is it? What?! It's already 8:00 AM?! And the ceremony starts at 9?! I gotta hurry!"
Still blinking sleep from his eyes, he stumbled into the bathroom, splashed water on his face, dressed in record time, and dashed downstairs.
"Son, come down, breakfast is ready!" his mom called again.
"Yeah, yeah, so what's today's special? Ahha! Bread, better than nothing!"He sat down, grabbed the toast. "Is today something special?"
His mother raised an eyebrow, smiling as she poured tea. "Of course it is. Today's your first day at the Academy."
He scarfed the food in minutes and darted out the door with crumbs still clinging to his cheek.
The rhythm of his steps was a storm, crashing forward with every desperate breath."I'm finally here," he whispered, eyes wide at the gleaming towers ahead."My name is Aezric Thalorven. I'm 17 years old…And today is my first day at the Academy."
But our story isn't only his.
Far from the crowds, through a side gate hidden behind vine-grown walls and steel corridors, someone else entered the Academy.
"Now", "let's shift our gaze… to the shadow that watches over Aezric."said the Sky.
"The gate's still open, right?"The man's voice was calm, laced with patience.
"Yes, it's open. You should hurry though, registration for the instructor post closes soon," replied the gatekeeper, eyes flicking over his tablet.
The man nodded, stepping in without haste. His black coat fluttered slightly behind him, catching no wind.
The Academy buzzed with energy. AI assistants floated by, carrying info tablets. Drones monitored the hallways. But at the main reception, a human sat, an odd, rare sight.
"Sir, how can I help you? Are you here to apply for the instructor post?" she asked, polite and formal.
"Yes," he said. "I'm here to apply."
She tapped a screen. "Alright, name and ID code for verification, please?"
He paused for a second.
"…Aron Lucavian," he finally answered, with a smile that didn't quite reach his eyes. "Here is my ID."
And so, without fanfare, the Watcher stepped into the fold.
He would not teach history.
He would guard it.
And as the Sky leans in again...
"The boy awakens. The watcher arrives. The gears begin, the silence dies. One walks the light, one hides the flame,And in between, unfolds the game."
