In Jamie's Memories the world he lives in now is ruled by multiple races, Divided into multiple continents.
'Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Vampires, Demons, Dragons, Beastmen. That's like all the races i've seen in stories back on earth'
'I can't beleive they're all real in this world. How did those authors know about them and wrote all those stories anyway, did someone really came to a world like this and was able to go back to earth?'
'No!!, That's not possible why would they go back after coming to a world like this?' He shook his head.
'Anyway, Each Race has a Ruler commanding them huh. Humans have a ruler too just like every race. There's a lot of powerhouses under the ruler too'
In this world wars are common incidents. Wars between different races, wars among the same race, they're all common things happening in this world. Killing isn't prohibited because in this world Only the strong can survive, Only the strong can get all sorts of resources and treasures to become even stronger.
If you have the power then you can thrive without caring about others. But it's a different story if it's the royal family.
Royal family is the family of the current Ruler of the Human continent.
Ruler is the strongest person in the human continent that's why other powerhouses show him respect and obey his command. that's how it always has been from thousands of years in the past.
Mages can live for a long time rather than mortals who can only liver for about a 100 years.
The time they get to live depend on which realm they are at. The current ruler of the human continent has been ruling over the continent for atleast 5000 years now.

Grandmaster Realm

If there are any more realms after this, Jamie doesn't know. Maybe there are. He's just not powerful enough to find out.
His Father, Duke Rufus Walker is at the Grandmaster Realm. All the Dukes of the continent are at the Grandmaster Realm. Jamie's Grandfather Gerald Walker is one of the Ten Grand Duke's of the continent. He's at the Expert Realm. All the Grand Duke's are also at the Expert Realm. If anyone of the noble families can reach the required realms then they have the chance to aquire Duke titles and Grand Duke titles.
Commoners are not given that chance. Even if they are at the Grandmaster Realm or at the Expert Realm they cannot hope to gain those titles from the royal family. But Becoming a Grandmaster or a Expert Realm Mage is not a easy thing either because there's only a small number of them in each continent. that's the reason number of Dukes and Grand Dukes are not changed for at least a thousand years until someone becomes one.
The Strongest Mage of the continent, The Ruler is at the Emperor Realm. Each Ruler of each continent are known to be at this Realm.
As for the Ancestor Realm Mages, They exists. But rumors can only give Jamie a possibility not certain information.
Every Mage has a element they are born with. But not everyone can awaken one. even though everyone is born with a element awakening them is a hard process. But for a noble family like Jamie's it's not a difficult process to solve.
Mage Academy is a place every noble family sends their young mages to learn more about cultivation and to become more stronger. There are lot of geniuses in the academy who have rare elements or talent in cultivation, comprehension and all sorts of stuff.
Jamie has just become 18 years of age is now supposed to enter the mage academy to learn more from them. and he's supposed to awaken his element with his father's help. So he has to get ready to meet him and his other family memebers.

He walked in to the hall, to the table. He could see there's four people sitting at the table.
His Father Rufus Walker. A Man who looks only 30 years old, has a handsome face and a well built physiqe, Long black hair and golden eyes. Sitting Aside him is a beautiful woman who looks to be in her late twenties. Has purple hair, purple eyes, wearing a elegant white gown is Jamie's mother Amanda Walker.
Beside Them are two people. they look very similar to his mother one has puple hair and the other has black hair, They're both very beautiful, second only to his mother. They are his sisters, Selina Walker and Talia Walker.
'Brother is not here' Jamie thought. His brother is the oldest, Cade Walker.
All of them looked at him the moment he entered. He got nervous all of a sudden but as if it's not a problem his heart calmed down and he felt very familiar and close to them.
'There's no need to get nervous i'm Jamie Walker i'm their family now and they are mine.'
"Good morning jamie" His mother spoke to him smiling and sensing warmth from his heart Jamie also spoke smiling,
"Good morning Mother, Father, Sisters"
"hmm hmm" Jamie's Sisters nodded at him smiling.
"Come sit" Rufus said to him.
He walked toward the chair beside Rufus and sat down.
"Are you ready for the test today" Rufus asked him.
"Hmm. Whenever you're free Father. You must be busy so let's do it when you have free time today."
"Okay. I'll send someone to you when it's time. Let's eat now, your sisters have been waiting for you" Rufus told him.
"Little Jamie, What element do you think you'll awaken." Talia, his sister asked him.
"I would've loved it if i can get the lightning element like mother and you. But i don't get to chose right" Jamie said while smiling at Talia.
"yep. so don't be sad if you can't awaken it. You'll be fine no matter what element you get. I'll help you master it to perfection okay."
"yes.yes. we'll help you" Selina spoke too.
"Okay." He noded at the both of them
"Alright children, eat now. didn't you complain saying you're hungry." Amanda spoke silencing the three of them.
"okay.okay. I am hungry, let's eat" Selina said as she started eating.
Jamie started eating too. He wasn't expecting new foods out of his knowledge since he already have the memeories. But he didn't expect to feel very familiar eating these foods he tried for the first time.
