Aetherborn (Novice Rank)

• Description: The first rank for any magic user, where they are seen as beginners in their magical journey. Aetherborns are still in the early stages of understanding their magic, and they possess only rudimentary control over their abilities.

• Abilities: Basic magic manipulation. Their spells are weak and lack precision, and they may still struggle to control their magical energy.

• Example for MC: The MC might start as an Aetherborn but exhibits an extraordinary natural talent, perhaps due to his bloodline, showing powers that surpass even those of experienced Aetherborns.

2. Luminari (Adept Rank)

• Description: The Luminari have transcended the basics and are starting to shine in their chosen magical affinity. They are seen as promising individuals who can wield their magic with reasonable control and understanding.

• Abilities: Luminari can perform intermediate spells with greater precision and can control more advanced elemental magic. They may start to develop their own unique magical style or techniques.

• Example for MC: This rank represents the stage where the MC begins to craft his own distinct magical abilities and may begin to make waves within the academy system, even though he is still learning to control his immense potential.

3. Thaumarch (Intermediate Rank)

• Description: Thaumarchs are seasoned mages who have unlocked the deeper layers of their magical potential. They are recognized as experts and scholars of magic and have the ability to manipulate powerful spells and energies.

• Abilities: Thaumarchs can wield advanced spells, harness multiple elements, and even begin experimenting with rare or forbidden magics. They are highly respected and often sought after as advisors or leaders.

• Example for MC: At this stage, the MC has mastered his magic to a degree, though his powers are still evolving and unpredictable. He may become an influential figure in his academy or even gain the attention of powerful nobles or other magic factions.

4. Arcavore (Advanced Rank)

• Description: Arcavores are magic users who have fully absorbed the essence of magic itself. They are legendary figures known for their mastery over the most dangerous and potent spells. The Arcavore rank is reserved for those who have not only reached magical excellence but also tapped into ancient or forgotten powers.

• Abilities: Arcavores can manipulate raw cosmic forces, bend reality, or channel god-like energies. They are capable of feats that defy normal understanding and often play a central role in the political, magical, and spiritual affairs of the world.

• Example for MC: The MC, with his unnatural talent and hidden heritage, might ascend to this rank early in the story, his growth pushing him toward powers that challenge the very fabric of the world.

5. Archon (Master Rank)

• Description: Archons are the elite of the elite, a group of mages who have achieved complete mastery over their magical affinity. They are regarded as demigods or chosen ones, capable of controlling the elements with near-perfection. Their power is legendary, and their actions can shape the fate of nations.

• Abilities: Archons can reshape reality with ease, manipulate time and space, and call upon divine entities or powers beyond comprehension. They are immortalized in history for their feats and are often revered as living legends.

• Example for MC: The MC may eventually become an Archon, though it may require him to unlock the hidden secrets of the Celestial Spire or confront the mystery of his father's disappearance. His path to Archon will be filled with great challenges, forcing him to face moral dilemmas about the use of ultimate power.

6. Exalted One (Legendary Rank)

• Description: The Exalted Ones are thought to be gods among mortals, transcending the realm of magic and entering the domain of the divine. Few ever achieve this rank, as it requires not only absolute mastery of magic but also an alignment with the cosmic forces of the world.

• Abilities: Exalted Ones are capable of godlike feats, such as altering the fabric of reality, controlling time, or even invoking celestial powers. Their influence extends beyond the mortal realm, and their mere presence can reshape the very world.

• Example for MC: Though the MC may not reach this rank immediately, his journey might lead him toward the possibility of becoming an Exalted One, especially if he unlocks the true nature of his lineage or taps into the mysterious forces tied to the Celestial Spire.

7. Aetherlord (Divine Rank)

• Description: The highest rank attainable, Aetherlords are individuals who are part of the cosmos itself, existing on a level beyond even the Exalted Ones. They are believed to be chosen by the gods, capable of shaping the very fate of the universe.

• Abilities: Aetherlords have the ability to create and destroy entire worlds, manipulate the fabric of existence, and commune with the divine realms. They are not bound by physical or magical limitations and are seen as immortal beings who transcend time and space.

• Example for MC: This is a distant possibility for the MC but could serve as an ultimate goal or a prophecy surrounding his origin. The MC could potentially be a descendant of the Aetherlords, with his journey ultimately leading him to this extraordinary rank.
