Hello everyone! Hope you all are enjoying the story!
So, a couple things.
First, the power level of Samael. At first, I wished to go with the more conventional scaling of Lucifer from Supernatural i.e. Multiversal at best, Universal+ at worst.
But, I want to broaden the horizons on what I can write, interactions with the endless, demons, fallen angels, New "gods" and old "gods" etc.
So, I'm going with some upscaling, some heavy upscaling, based on one thing.
Supernatural Lucifer existing before the rest of Creation, before "time and space" the universe and all that. Since Grace is part of Chuck who is the Living Concept of Creation.
With this, I can upscale him to basically around the endless level, since he existed before all the laws of creation were put and all that, basically only below the Demiurgic Archangels, like Lucifer Morningstar, Michael Demiurgos and Gabriel Hornblower.
His existing before the universe in my eyes isn't the same as like other beings existing before universes like Barbatos for example. But on the existence before Creation sense, like the Demiurgic Archangels were.
They are stronger than him though still, since they are far more connected to Yahweh than he is - yes, he is connected to Yahweh.
I'm writing Chuck to be an aspect of Yahweh, like the various other aspects the Presence has.
Let's say the Darkness, Amara is an aspect of the Great Evil Beast in DC.
Quite the upscale I know, but with his body incapable of really exercising that power, I have a lot of room for story development, him still interacting with the none cosmic side of things and cosmic side of things, without it feeling below him or above him.
Now for appearance.
Samael is pretty tall, has long black hair (from being so long in a coma and not wanting to cut it), and is decently pale, but no longer sick pale, more of what some call "handsome pale" or whatever the f its called.
Basically, I'm choosing to have him be my profile pic, since I realise, I have yet to write a character with Hades from Saint Seiya's appearance, though Samael has black/brown eyes (depending on the lighting) instead of blue.
