Stepping across the door felt natural, as if I were being guided. The thought of being trapped in that void forever did little to make me feel the opposite. I opened the door with my dragon hand and walked through it.

Crossing the door felt weird. It was like something was compressing, but I couldn't put my hand on it, the flashing words in blue disappearing faster than I could read them.
The ringing in my head stopped once I stepped across, and a medieval amphitheater greeted my eyes. On its seats, a bunch of kids sat wide-eyed. Who I could only assume were students. The single uniform that they all wore was a dead giveaway.
The only thing they all had in common besides the uniform was how good-looking they were. It honestly made me a bit jealous before I remembered how divine my dragon body looked.
After all, Dragons were the pinnacle of beauty; it seemed they also appreciated my beauty if their stares were anything to go by.
It was obvious that they were in shock at how majestic this dragon looked.
Yes, be in awe of this mighty dragon, prostrate yourself before me, the corners of my lips pulled upwards into a smile.
Should I roar? Would that cement the deal?
My eyes continued to scan my observers, a demi-human there, and an elf there, oh, even a dwarf was a student.
How odd.
The majority, however were humans.
"No Way!"
Yes, be surprised that a mighty dragon stands before you, I puffed out my chest. I tilted my head upwards, as I charged a breath about to release.
"She summoned a damn Lizard" The words that echoed from the seats, made me double over, my breath was interrupted, and I swallowed my flames, my eyes turned towards him and narrowed.
A red-haired brat, his cheekbones were high, and his jaw chiseled, his uniform had no wrinkles despite how much the kid seemed like a delinquent, his previous emerald eyes were shut tight, as he was bent over, he proceeded to slap his knee as he held his stomach laughing.
I had never eaten a human before, but I was tempted to try a new snack.
My nonexistent dragon brows wrinkled.
Surely the other students recognized my majesty.
"How did she mess up such an easy ritual?" Another Impertinent human started laughing. Was this how my sister felt? Perhaps I treated her too harshly.
Should I fly over and grab this little primate's cheeks? Wait until I learn polymorph foul humans, I the Mighty Dragon, promise to beat you black and blue.
This time, an orange-haired, Lion demi-human spoke. Her golden eyes narrowed as her mouth opened. The corners of her cheeks creased as a smile that could put an Idol to shame appeared on her face. Her lion ears twitched with mischief.
"All of that to summon a little silver lizard." Her voice, much like her appearance, was great, but the words that came out of her mouth were like venom.
Her mocking laughter, which sounded like pleasant bells, seemed to scratch my ears.
Lizard? Little? Silver? I admit that I was still a growing dragon, but I was far from little. How big were the Lizards in this world? I could for a fact say that I was bigger than a housecat. Silver? I was clearly the pristine coat of Platinum, these country bumpkins don't know anything about fine metals.
I completely ignored the fact that most of the students were adorned with expensive-looking jewelry.
How lucky for them that I was summoned and not my sister.
Her temper was far worse than mine.
I looked up, and a large podium stood beside me, and a giant was beside it.
Giant? I looked around, and even the dandelions and weeds looked humongous.
I've shrunk.
I shook my little dragon head.
"Look, it even matches her hair, the tiny lizard and the Duchess are a great pair." I didn't bother to look at who spoke, my patience now running thin. How could I allow a lesser species to continuously call me a Lizard? Only I was allowed to call dragons lizards.
I was definitely not getting annoyed at growing smaller.
Yes, I was defending dragon kind. I puffed out my righteous chest and posed.
[Silence, mortals, you dare call this dragon a Lizard?] I spoke with gusto, yet it didn't seem to work; they didn't stop laughing; instead, more joined in.
Perhaps Tiamat wasn't wrong; some bugs needed to be taught a lesson.
I wouldn't hurt them... Too much.
Before I could get too heated, a gorgeous woman came down the steps, her blonde hair as radiant as the sun, and her blue eyes were as deep as an ocean. She looked like an hourglass; her hips curved in when they needed to and curved out when they didn't. As a modest Dragon, I was not going to describe her mana pouches.
What the hell were they feeding these college students?
"My my, what a handsome Lizard, how much would you be willing to give for it?" Her voice was even more pleasant than her appearance, it tickled my ears.
Even so, I had to let her know I was not for sale.
'Foolish woman. This Dragon is not for Sale.'
The words I intended to say never left my mouth.
She bent over; her humongous mountains displayed a crevice even bigger than my lair. Is this what they call a dragon's cave? She tucked a hair behind her ear, her blue eyes shimmering, as they looked at me.
Her hand outstretched to touch me, but I was too distracted by the potential of a new lair that I didn't react.
Curse these dragons, always thinking with their lower halves. I tried to snap out of it, but was defeated by her soft, fleshy hands rubbing my head. I almost folded, I resisted the urge to purr and nuzzle into her hand.
Pathetic.
I was won over by a single head pat. Was this how Tiamat felt?
It was clear she wasn't talking to me, but someone behind me.
I turned around and looked at another giant; her beauty was on par with the blonde, but it had a different feel to it. If the blonde radiated warmth, she radiated cold. Her red eyes stared at him with a hint of fear. Sweat dripped down her brow, she had silver hair that could be mistaken for platinum, and a body that wasn't put to shame by the blonde.
There was an invisible string that I could see as a sort of thread that connected our fates, one that I could cut at any moment. Was that the contract that we had? I could only conclude that she was my summoner.
It was also clear to me that she recognized me as a dragon, which could be the only thing that explained the fear.
Don't worry, summon, I will treat you well. I'll grow you strong and reliable so these lesser beings can no longer make fun of you.
I completely ignored the fact that they were making fun of me and not her.
As more mockery and ridicule erupted from the stands.
What seemed to be the teacher spoke.
"That's enough."
She was quite my tempo, like a hot librarian. The fine lady, with round glasses, spoke with a frown that did not hinder her beauty. She impatiently tapped her podium until everyone was silent.
She looked at the blonde petting me and opened her mouth.
"Back to your seat, Princess."
With a huff and a glare, the princess stopped petting me and whispered towards me in a tone that sent shivers down my spine.
"Don't worry, handsome Dragon, I will save you from her grasp." She shot me a warm smile that would make anyone swoon, and then turned and left for her seat.
I had no clue what she meant by that, but the thought of a dragon being rescued by a princess made me inwardly chuckle.
The teacher looked at me, her eyes unfocused, and her eyebrows slightly raised, she scratched her chin before finally turning towards my summon.
"Well done." Her words were simple as she looked between me and the silver-haired woman.
"Come on!" My eyes narrowed at the punk who interrupted the hot librarian.
"Silence." She said in a stern tone," Must I remind you who here is the teacher?" She pushed up her glasses before glaring at the unruly student.
"No ma'am."
The teacher leaned over and whispered to my summon, before backing up and clearing her throat. She spoke loudly and without emotion.
"Seeing as it's not a wolf, I can't give you full marks, but as you did succeed in a summoning, I won't mark it as a failure."
"You may return to your seat." She nodded at my summon and turned the page in her book.
My summon decided to act as my chariot and, with trembling hands, scooped me up and placed me on her head.

Diana was not feeling okay, while she should have been happy to succeed in summoning at least a living being. She couldn't be happy with the result.
She summoned a dragon.
Yes, a dragon, not only was it a dragon, but it was one she recognized. She tried so hard not to think of his name, as that would draw his attention.
How was this even possible? And why was he so tiny? Diana couldn't believe she had summoned a Dragon god, or as it looked, a future Dragon god. The only one of its kind, the Platinum dragon, sworn enemy of the Dragon god of evil.
Even if what she summoned was not a god, summoning a dragon was not a good thing. Dragons hated being subservient, and other dragons hated beings that had dragons as servants.
if this were made public, she would become the number one enemy of dragons. Which is why her teacher told her not to tell anyone that what appeared to be a lizard was a dragon.
Ironically enough, Diana prayed that the Dragon she summoned was not the Dragon god. Her thoughts drifted to what she thought she summoned.
'He' was a god, that was only mentioned in subtext, one that can only be 'interacted' with by beings with connections to dragons.
A lofty god who had been around since the dawn of creation.
So why was he so tiny? Better yet, how did she manage to summon him?
"How much?" Her thoughts were interrupted by her classmate, the Imperial Heir to the Empire, to whom Diana's duchy belonged to.
"Huh?" Her words stumbled out of her mouth.
"Don't act like you didn't hear. How much for it?" Her blue eyes stared into hers, with a fervent gaze she had never experienced before.
She grabbed hold of her hand.
"Aren't we childhood friends?"
Diana pulled her hand away and spoke harshly.
"I am not selling my summon."
Without waiting for a response, Diana put all her stuff away and then raised her hand. The teachers' eyes locked onto hers before calling her name.
"Diana"
"May I be excused?"
"You may." The teacher nodded at her before going back to testing the summoners.
Diana quickly grabbed her bag and hurried down the steps, before breaking out into a full sprint when she left the room.
She made sure the dragon on top of her head stayed on, a hand holding her head while another held her bag.
Diana knew she looked goofy, but her nerves got the best of her. She wanted to be alone, she was happy today was the day before the weekend started, as no classes were held on the last two days of the week.
She made her way towards a carriage and arrived in front of her dorm building. She headed towards the noble section and entered her room.
She was more surprised at her new summon staying quiet than the teacher's personality suddenly turning a 180.
Diana swore, she heard it speak when her classmates were making fun of her.
She placed her bag on the floor and placed the small dragon on the bed before lying down.
She glanced at the dragon, who was also staring at her with a tilted head before quickly turning away.
Now it was time to access her reward; the notification from the system appeared before her eyes.
[Congratulations on completing your quest!]
[You have successfully summoned ???]
[Achievement unlocked! The one who summoned a Deity]
[Reward: received]
The achievement that she unlocked did nothing to calm her nerves, instead it confirmed what she already thought.
With a shaky breath, she spoke in a language only she could understand.
English.
"Status Window"
Before she could even pay attention to her new window, the dragon's words left her mouth agape.
