The Poké Ball split open with a soft chime, and a warm light spilled onto the ground, slowly taking shape.

When the glow faded, Larvitar stood there—small, sturdy, and still. He didn't move right away. His red eyes blinked slowly, adjusting to the sunlight, to the wind brushing over his rocky skin for the very first time.

For a long second, he just stood there, silent. Then, slowly, he turned his head to look up at his Trainer.

He didn't understand everything. But he could feel it—something in the way the Trainer knelt down, smiling gently, holding out a hand without force.

"Hey there," i said softly. "Welcome to the world, little guy."

Larvitar took a single step forward. The ground beneath him was real. The sky above was wide. And in front of him—maybe—was someone he could trust.

His first breath of open air was slow and deep.

He was here.

...

*Larvitar -It feeds on soil. After it has eaten a large mountain, it will fall asleep so it can grow.

It is born deep underground. It can't emerge until it has entirely consumed the soil around it. *

Tormund pov-

Tormund squinted at the rocky little creature glaring up at him. It was no taller than his knee, with a tough green hide and a red diamond-shaped mark on its belly. Beady black eyes stared at him with a mix of defiance and curiosity.

"What in the seven hells are you supposed to be?" Tormund muttered, lowering his massive frame for a closer look. "A rock with legs? A lizard? Some kind o' mountain baby?"

Larvitar let out a low growl and stomped one foot. The ground trembled slightly.

Tormund's eyes widened. "By the gods, it's a tiny giant! A fierce wee thing!" He chuckled, delighted. "i like you."

The Larvitar grunted again, clearly not impressed.

Tormund reached out a hand, only for Larvitar to chomp it—not hard, but firm enough to send a message.

"Ow!" Tormund roared with laughter, cradling his hand. "Got some bite on you, eh? I definitely like you."

grinning like a man who'd found a drinking buddy in a bar fight. "This one's got spirit. I'll call it... Rockbiter!"

Tobias pov-

ꀤ said This one is called larvitar...."....Larvitar is the best Pokémon for finding obsidian. Larvitar's growth requires consuming a significant amount of soil and stones."I asked Larvitar to start from the mountain near the Hot Spring."

ꀤ asked Larvitar to find obsidian by digging in the soil inside the mountain. ꀤ gave it instructions to create a tunnel from where obsidian is found to the surface, but also reminded it to be cautious while doing so.Larvitar disappeared into the ground quickly, leaving behind a small hole.
