Third person's POV :
The next day was hectic to say the less.On the very first day,in the royal court,respected courtiers divided themselves into two groups.
One group,wanted Duryodhana to be announced as the Yuvraj of the kingdom.
On the other hand,another group wanted Yudhisthir to be the new king of Hastinapur as he is the rightful successor of the throne.
Mahamahim Bhishma and Mahamantri Vidur were one of them.
They spoke for Yudhisthir's rights as he was silent during the whole time.
Maharaj Dhritarasthra tried very hard to show that he was neutral in this situation.But he clearly wanted his dear eldest son to be the next successor.
Arjun's POV :
The whole time I only wanted to scream one thing.
'None of them are the rightful Yuvraj of Hastinapur.The one who actually deserves it,is literally standing in the court right now.'
Yeah,I am talking about Angaraj Karna.But I definitely could not say that out loud.
I have decided already.I will try to ignore Angaraj Karna from now on.
So I have not looked at him since the incident from last night.But he better not take that as my weakness...
But I was definitely against Duryodhana being the next successor of the throne.He will surely destroy my father's...Atjun's father's and family's so well cherished kingdom.
Besides that,after Karna,my jyesth is the rightful successor of the throne.And I am pretty much sure that my other three brothers think the same.
But jyesth did not seem to agree at all.I have known it for a while that he does not want the throne at all.
It's not the pressure of the upcoming responsibility.He is too calm to feel any kind of pressure.
He just doesn't want the rivalry between us and our cousins.He wants to end the enmity between us...just like me.
And he is ready to sacrifice the kingdom and his rights to make that happen.
But I can't let him do that.I am supposed to end the enmity between us.Yes,that's the truth.
But not at the cost of supporting the wrong side.It's completely against my moral values.
I have not trained this hard for nothing.I will end this rivalry and complete my task as well,but on the right path.
So the court session today ended with no clear decision on this matter today.
Just as we all were getting ready to leave the grand hall,Guru Drona reached there.
"Such ungrateful students you are!You all have been trained for years by me.But you completely forgot about my gurudakshina."
We all gathered around him and asked for his gurudakshina.
And I knew pretty well what he was going to ask for.I had not been a fan for years for nothing.
"I want you all to go to the kingdom of Panchal.The king of Panchal,Drupada is my old enemy.He once insulted him in his court,infront of everyone.
So now I am giving you all this opportunity to prove your worth and years of training.Attack his kingdom and defeat him.This way,I will also get my gurudakshina."
We all definitely agreed.I went and touched his feet to get his blessings.
