Chapter 14 - Unexpected Encounter

Six years have passed since the titanic duel between Gojo and Sukuna, and their decisions have shaken the world. The crew's fame has spread like wildfire. Their daring exploits, spectacular battles, and thirst for freedom have captivated the entire world. Gojo, with his piercing blue eyes and infinite power, has become a living legend, inspiring both fear and admiration.

The crew has grown over the years, attracting talented and unique individuals. New pirates with extraordinary powers have joined the cause, significantly bolstering the alliance's strength. Leading this armada was Satoru D. Gojo, nicknamed "Gojo with the Eternal Eyes," a charismatic and unpredictable man whose motivations remained a mystery.

By Gojo's side stood three ruthless figures known as the Three Curses:

- Yuta Okkotsu, the Cursed King

- Toji Fushiguro, the Pirate Slayer

- Sukuna, the Two-Faced Demon

Followed by the Nine Shamans, considered the strongest after the three curses. Unlike those who sailed solo, each shaman had their own divisions:

- Utahime Iori, the Enchantress

- Mei Mei, White Raven

- Shoko Ieiri, Goddess of Death

- Yuki Tsukumo, the Executioner

- Choso, The Blood Monk

- Nanami Kento, The Merciless Judge

- Hanami, The Poisoned Flower

- Naobito Zenin, Demon of the Seas

- Masamichi Yaga, Magister Yaga

With each member possessing the power of a devil fruit and unwavering loyalty, the Infinity Crew became an unstoppable force in the New World. They controlled numerous territories, made many countries their allies, all while cultivating numerous enemies.

The Stella, flagship of the crew, cut through the waves of the New World, its destination now known: the Isle of Death, an island renowned for its danger, rumored to hold many treasures.

The Isle of Death had a sinister reputation, shrouded in a reddish mist. Its climate was hostile, its wildlife wild, and its animals ferocious. The island was also known for its many ancient ruins, and rumors circulated among the greats of the world that this island dated back to the age of the forgotten century. As the Stella approached the island, the atmosphere suddenly grew heavier. The sky darkened, and the waves began to roar.

"The island is in sight, captain," Nanami announced in a deep voice for everyone to hear. "It truly lives up to its reputation as the Isle of Death."

Gojo smiled and replied calmly, "Interesting... It seems we are not the only ones venturing onto this island."

"I wonder who they are... But judging by their haki, they are truly strong," Toji said, stretching.

"Whoever they are, if they get in our way, I'll kill them," Sukuna arrogantly added as he began to move forward.

"Whoever else is there, the treasure belongs to us. I won't let anyone take it from us," Mei Mei intervened.

Gojo nodded and said, "**Very well. Mei Mei, you handle the treasure search with the other shamans. Yuta, Toji, and Sukuna, stay with me.**"

After assigning each team composition, Yaga declined, wanting to stay on the Stella with Hanami. Upon nearing the shore, Yaga docked the ship, allowing the others to disembark.

The island was eerie, enveloped in a thick fog. The trees that grew there were dead, dried out, with twisted trunks and thorny branches. The ground was covered in black, fine sand, giving the impression of having been burned by intense fire. A smell of sulfur and decay lingered in the air, adding to the gloomy atmosphere of the place. Occasionally, strange and inhuman cries could be heard in the distance.

The crew split into two groups. Mei Mei and the other shamans set off in search of the treasure, while Gojo, Yuta, Toji, and Sukuna headed towards the origin of the powerful haki they had felt.

Mei Mei was impatient. The lure of profit exhilarated her. The Island of Death did not scare her. On the contrary, the adrenaline of the treasure hunt invigorated her.

They ventured into the arid lands of the island. The scorching sun cracked the red earth, and the dry air was laden with the acrid smell of death and decaying vegetation. Vultures circled in the grey sky, waiting for their next meal, and the ground was littered with sun-bleached bones.

As their group advanced, eliminating the monsters around them, Mei Mei surveyed the surroundings. She spotted a hidden entrance in a cliffside, almost entirely buried under sand. "It's over there," she announced, her eyes shining with excitement.

Carefully, they cleared the entrance and found themselves in front of a massive carved wooden door. Strange inscriptions were etched on the wood's surface, and the air reeked of the humidity and dust of time.

"A work of a vanished civilization," murmured Shoko, examining the inscriptions with a practiced eye. "This door must be trapped."

Yuki approached the door and struck it with the palm of his hand. A dull sound echoed, and a mechanism was triggered. Poisoned arrows shot out from the cave walls, whistling through the air...

At the same time, Gojo's group sneaked through the ruins of an ancient city, heading towards the source of the powerful haki. The air was electric, pulsing with a menacing energy. Indistinct whispers and deep rumblings emanated from the depths of the city, heightening the oppressive atmosphere.

Gojo broke the silence with a calm and steady voice, "Ahahahaha... Looks like we're in for some fun, aren't we?"

Yuta, with a cold and impassive gaze, asked, "Who is it, captain?"

Gojo, without turning his gaze, replied in a clear voice, "The hundred beasts... It's Kaido and his men."

Those simple words triggered an unexpected reaction. A wide grin spread across Sukuna's face, revealing his sharp fangs. His usually mischievous eyes gleamed with fierce anticipation. A frosty silence enveloped him, foreshadowing the storm brewing within him.

Toji, on the other hand, remained stoic. His impassive face betrayed no emotion. His body, sculpted by years of intense training, tensed, ready to engage in battle at a moment's notice.

As they continued their path, Gojo, exuding a killer aura to scare off the monsters in their way, began emitting conqueror's haki. With each step he took, his haki intensified until they reached the place where the hundred beasts were located. Half of the pirates present vanished upon Gojo's arrival, leaving only those who were more resistant but unable to move.

Upon Gojo's arrival, the remaining pirates went on guard, unaware of who he was. Suddenly, a massive man of imposing stature made his way through the pirates, followed by three others. It was Kaido, the king of beasts, known for his devastating power and boundless cruelty.

"You're trespassing on my territory and daring to knock out my guys, kid," he said with an annoyed tone as he approached. "I've heard about you. You're the brat who keeps making a name for himself?"

Gojo stared at him unwaveringly, a smile beginning to appear on his face.

"What's one of the Four Emperors doing on an island outside his territory?" he asked, emitting even more conqueror's haki.

"Wororororo... I salute you, kid. You and your crew have courage, I'll give you that. But it won't be enough to take on me and my crew," Kaido said to Gojo.

He glanced at his lieutenants, the three Calamities.

"Yoo... guys," he said, "get ready. We have another one of those pirate crews who think they can stand up to us."

In an instant, the tension escalated. Gojo and Kaido engaged in a duel of conqueror's haki, proving their supremacy. The curses, on the other hand, each drifted off in a different direction, not wanting to interrupt their captains.
