"i wish I was dead." Nanao screams internally while his body makes a horrible static sound out of starvation.
He has just spent the last bit of his energy to come back to his home and is literally dying of hunger in his room.
" I don't feel so good... *Weakly stands* I need food." He opens the door and goes downstairs to see his dad taking out his shoes with a tired look on his face.
"Ah Nanao, you feeling any better yet? I know it's hard and all but dad will help you get through." Saito helps the dying Nanao to his feets while looking half dead himself, the duo then ate a few boxes of instant noodles.
'Should I tell dad about this? The fact that the military is after us?.. not now.' Deciding against involving his father in the fight just for personal satisfaction was not something he wanted to do.
They together spent some leasure time before going to sleep while Nanao plans his future actions for the war he is going to make.

-meanwhile on the island-
Nana wakes up from her sleep in exhaustion and quickly looks around, the pen is still there and so is the stool, the clock is correct as well and there is no sign of any change.
'Was that just a dream? It felt to real from the voice to even the wind from his breath.' She ponders on Nanao's words but put them to the back of her head and went into the bathroom.
She opens the drawer while yawning, the wound on her back she hurting and iching but she knows better than to interact with it, "Huh? This can't b.." the mirror has a message written in black colour of a marker.
'The future can be changed with future knowledge, You better not die before I come back myself' The message said which left Nana in bafflement, she stares at it with empty mine with hundreds of questions in her mind.
"Come back? Who wrote this? Wasn't that just a dream?" She focused on her memories and a unfamiliar image popped in her mind, she herself writing on the mirror with eyes closed.
She had questions but no answers while the words haunt her every action, mentally exhausted she reached herself and went into the classroom.
"I don't get it, if the enemy of humanity was there then it should have killed all of us and not run away the next moment. Your words are confusing Nana." , "What can I say? I jus-... I do have something else to say." Nana confessed, Kyoya looks at her with a suspicious side eye with high caution and interest while michiru just stood behind Nana.
"I saw a dream yesterday, I saw Nanao-kun.. he said something about lies and deception and the rest I don't know." She fiegned Ignorance with highly trained facial and body expressions while Kyoya fell into deep thought.
"Nanao-kun? You saw him in a dream? Does that mean he was-... It can't be." Michiru panicks from the conversation and her panic brought the attention of the other students as well, Nana told them about what happened last night while withholding in the information about the general and her mission.
The class jocks came to the front and begins gathering allies for themselves while Nanao looked at their vigilance in disappointment, she will have to kill them sooner o-, "Not everyone is a enemy of humanity, on this path is nothing but regrets." Nanao's words comes to her mind but she threw them to back of her mind again.
They jocks then begin argue among themselves about who should be the class leader until Michiru suggested Nana which got a green light from others thanks to michiru's innocence.
"Thank you everyone, I will make sure to lead us well." Nana said
After that class, As Nana was going outside, Kyoya caught up and.
" sorry for doubting you, You are a victim as well."
"What? You thought I did something?"
"I caught a glimpse of what it may have been, the sharp and long thing like a spear or a awl."
"Huh? What may have been."
"The thing that you got attacked with, it have been claws or something sharp so we need to take countermeasures leader. I am counting on you." Kyoya said and left after telling Nana about his suspensions.
'So he caught onto the bluff.. I need to use something else or he may get suspicious from now on.' She decided to switch the weapons for the next targets.
Nana spent rest of the day either finding poisonous herbs or insects and then finally left for her small room.
Just as she was about to enter it, a voice called to her from behind and she saw a panicking Tsunekichi running at her while stumbling.
"LEADER SAVE ME" He screamed before falling after tripping on a nearby bottle on the ground.
"Tsunekichi- san? What happened? Why the panic?" She asked out of confusion.
"I am about to be killed, i can see the future." He said without any waste, leaving Nana in astonishment.
'See the future? This is problematic.', "Just what did you tsune-san?" She said while feigning ignorance while Tsunekichi brought out a photo from his pocket.
The photo has picture of him running towards Nana while his hands go flying and another picture showing a shadow cutting a table in half.
'What? But this. How is this possible? Wasn't the enemies of humanity in the textbooks lies?' she analysed the photos while Tsunekichi was on the ground grabbing onto her foot.
"Come inside and tell me everything, we need to do something if this is true." She shows her fake valient expression while opening the door.
Inside, after brewing a cup of tea for Tsunekichi, he placed three pictures he showed her before alongside 2 more.
"I saw Nanao-kun, he said something about me not deserving to live and before vanishing away like a illusion, when i came to my senses, I woke up on a bench in class." He described his nightmare while slowly sipping on the tea.
Nana however was more focused on the photos, she picked up the last two which showed Her and Tsunekichi running away from something in the first and her shivering from fear with a floating black claw placed at her neck.
'floating rocks, sharp claws, a black shadow and even invisibility.' "what is this about Tsunekichi-san? What are these photos?"
"It's my talent, I can create pictures of future events, generally even if death came my way I would just embrace it but.. look at this." He said asbrought a last photo out of his lower back pocket.
The photo showed a gruesome scene of Nana grabbing onto something akin to a spear while impaling it through Tsunekichi's chest while horror filled his eyes.
" I know because I have tried before, the future of these images is unavoidable, sooner or later it will happen so I just wanted some company befor-" he begins telling his imaginary will that included a lot of greedy stuff.
'Cant be changed? Does it mean I would have to follow it too? I am not a big fan of being a p-' she stopped mid thought as the words written on her mirror resurfaces in her mind.
'The future can be changed with future knowledge' the sentence and the nightmare about Nanao coming to her in a dream even further solidified her suspicions.
Suddenly strong window shakes a little and they both turn to it, Their pupils shrank as they both instinctively retreated to the back of the room.
In the window was a black shadow of Nanao's figure with something akin to claws as hands, it has a pair of pupil less red eyes that show nothing but hunger.
"IT'S HERE!! RUN" Tsune ran away like a scared rat while Nana tried to find a awl, just as she turned back to the window, the figure was gone.
"Fooo" The sound of breathing and a cold breeze hit her ears, Nana gives a side eye to the shadow who seems to be staring into her souls lika a demon.
Complete silence without any movement, Nana just sat there paralysed in fear under the piercing gaze of the figure when suddenly the lights turned off.
The lights turned back to reveal the figure gone and Nana could finally breath, she looked around like a hopeless soul until she saw something she didn't want to.
"Miss me yet? You seem to be suffering a lot." Nanao Nakajima sitting on her desk with one foot over the other while looking at her.
"You again? Is this a dream as well?" She asked out of curiosity and suddenly Nanao's smile twisted like a phantom and he appeared beside her.
"Have fun in hell." Before she could even say something more, she felt pain in her neck and saw blood flowing down, horror struck her as she stare at demon in the eye while slowly her body loses it's control.
'So i guess this is how I am gonna die.. I wish I could've completed the mi-', just as she was drowing in her regrets, a warmth appear on her and the Nanao turned back into a shadow and ran away while screeching.
" what would you ever do without me? Imagine dying to a soul less clone of your target." Nanao says while grabbing the stunned Nana by the shoulder and pulling her up.
He threw her onto the bed and sat on a chair to the side while checking the broken watch at his wrist. She stares at him with blank eyes without blinking as if hypnotized.
"You.. are alive? But the dream and-" She was saying in a stupor when Nanao hit her on the forehead with a pen cap, making her recoil and come back to her senses as she clutches the awl again.
"I told you didn't i? I will be the one to end you, might as well use you a little before rebuilding this broken race of humans together." He walks forward and laid beside her while she lunges at him.
He grabs her hand, twists it and plants her on the mattress face first before throwing the awl away. She growls in fury but couldn't break through his strength.
"Did you really think I can't defeat you? I am much stronger than you can imagine and you can do nothing about it."
He hits her with elbow to the gut before grabbing her by the hair, he drags her onto the floor and crouches in front of her.
"So you are a psychopath as well, no wonder the talented ar-"
"You are most delusional person I have ever saw, Do you really think your ideals are true and your own?" He stares into her eyes.
"I could have killed you but that would be too unfair for what you have done, Let me tell you something.. i could show you the truth right now and end everything here."
"Or.. i could show you the final moments of your soon to be dead victims and give you severe depression. Your choice."
Nanao slowly tilts his head while playing with the awl he threw earlier, Nana had no answer nor a expression on her face, just pure determination.
"Your words have no effect on me, Kill me now if you think you can get anything out of-" Nana cleanly stated her confidence before being silenced by Nanao who sealed her mouth with his hand.
"You know, i would have forgiven you if not for the fact that you chose the most hurtful way to try to kill me, I mean becoming a friend to the class bullied introvert and then killing them with betrayal." His pupil constricted while he puts the awl's sharp end at her neck.
"What would you feel if that general just threw you into jail after saying you did your part? And before you ask, I know everything already." He threatens her while discouraging her even further.
Nana didn't say anything but just stared at him constantly until the Nanao finally let go of her mouth and backed away a little.
"Do you have any idea of the impact of your actions? I can show you but what will I get? You have nothing that can help me ." He said bluntly while looking out the window at the figure shredded outside the room.
He made sure to cut Tsunekichi with a bunch of air blades, the clone which for some reason was not made by him was also pinned to a tree nearby with a giant rock spear pierced through its head.
