Akainu.
In the original One Piece, he was a future Admiral and later became the Fleet Admiral.
With the powers of the Logia-type Magma-Magma Fruit (Magu Magu no Mi), his combat strength was immense. His temper was volatile, and he fought with no fear of death.
He was envious and wrathful, and completely ruthless—willing to sacrifice even innocents and subordinates to eliminate pirates.
In Daemon's previous life, these were definite black marks.
Not benevolent enough.
But in Daemon's eyes in this life, they were all virtues.
It could be said that, if Akainu could be made to sincerely follow him, he'd become an extremely high-quality subordinate.
The question was—how do you subdue Akainu?
Satisfy his brutal ideals.
Overwhelm him with power.
Make him realize that you are someone worthy of his loyalty.
It was just that simple.
"The world's strongest sword technique?"
Akainu stared at Daemon with burning eyes, clearly intrigued.
He had once practiced swordsmanship but lacked the talent for it. After eating the Magma Fruit, he abandoned the blade. Still, he retained a yearning for the way of the sword—and Daemon had successfully sparked that buried desire.
"Please demonstrate, Daemon-sama. As a matter of respect, I will give it my all."
The words were polite, but the magma leaking from Akainu's body hissed against the deck. The heat in the air rose sharply.
He activated everything—Kenbunshoku Haki (Observation), Busoshoku Haki (Armament), and the full might of his Magma powers.
Akainu wasn't taking any chances—not after seeing Daemon's terrifying display in Impel Down.
Yet Daemon didn't react.
He still held Stussy in his right hand, leaving only his left arm free to move.
"Daemon-sama…?"
Akainu looked confused.
"Just go all out," Daemon said casually. "If I make the first move, you won't get to attack."
Miyuki Uchiha: "Good grief!"
Esdeath: "Hmph. Daemon speaks only truth."
Luo Hao: "Indeed! With the 'Belt of Hercules' and 'Kamuizumi's Divine Slash,' there are few in the One Piece world who could last more than a second."
Yamamoto Mei: "Not necessarily. One Piece is filled with monsters with insane vitality. Akainu is one of them."
Luo Hao: "Fair enough. This will be interesting."
"You're that confident?"
Akainu, oblivious to the chat group conversation, felt Daemon's words brushing up against arrogance. He was not pleased. His pride as a soldier was ignited—he would prove his worth.
BOOM—!!
With a deafening explosion, magma erupted beneath Akainu's feet like a booster, shaking the entire ship.
Using the blast as propulsion, he launched himself toward Daemon from midair.
"Great Eruption!" (Meigou!)
His arm transformed into a massive magma fist, crashing down toward Daemon's head like a burning meteorite.
In the original Marineford War, this attack was enough to take half of Whitebeard's face.
It was fast, destructive, and constantly burning—almost impossible to defend against.
"Daemon-sama!"
Stussy cried out, trembling. Though she was strong—stronger than most Vice Admirals—even she paled before this apocalyptic move.
Daemon finally moved.
"Kamui no Tōhi!" (Divine Evasion)
Zheng—!
A radiant golden sword materialized in Daemon's left hand. He swung.
The golden light of the blade seemed to cleave through the very fabric of the world.
It was a sure-kill slash that ignored distance, space, defense, and time itself.
In its wake, magma, sea, and clouds were cleanly bisected. The ocean for dozens of kilometers was split, the sky at ten thousand meters rent in half.
Akainu was thrown back, vomiting blood, his body crashing hard into the deck.
His uniform was in tatters. A deep, horrific gash stretched from his shoulder to his waist.
"Was… was that an instant kill?"
Stussy's voice trembled with awe and terror.
She believed, had it not been for Akainu's magma body granting partial immunity, he'd have been cleaved in two.
[Chat Group Silence]
Kasumigaoka Utaha: "I don't get any of this… I'm just a mob character in comparison."
Tohsaka Sakura: "Sakura too, completely overwhelmed~"
Miyuki Uchiha: "I'm trembling. Please don't let Daemon-sama enter the Naruto world…"
Esdeath: "What a beautiful sword! I'm so thrilled I want to storm the Revolutionary Army right now!"
Luo Hao: "An absolute sword, yes. But it's not without weaknesses."
Yamamoto Mei: "Correct. The best counter is defeating Daemon before he draws his sword."
Miyuki: "But don't forget—Daemon has the Belt of Hercules. His speed may outpace anyone he faces~"
Yamamoto Mei: "Ah, that's…"
Luo Hao: "Well, we just need to gang up on him!"
Daemon raised an eyebrow.
So many martial maniacs in one place—it was inevitable they'd start plotting battle scenarios against him.
But hey, that's what made these chats fun.
What was the point of being strong if you didn't flex a little?
"W-Wow… What was that power?"
Still coughing up blood, Akainu asked in a hushed tone.
The sword had no visible Armament or Conqueror's Haki—so how did it bypass his magma form?
"Divine power." Daemon answered offhandedly—even he wasn't sure of the exact mechanics.
"Divine power… I see."
Akainu's eyes lit up. He interpreted it as some secret ability only the Celestial Dragons possessed.
Daemon didn't correct him.
"So, Akainu, what do you think of the strongest sword technique in the world?"
Akainu didn't reply. He staggered to his feet, enduring the pain, then stood at attention and saluted with both fists over his chest.
Daemon blinked. "What's that supposed to mean?"
"A true soldier never takes a wound to the back!" Akainu growled. "Hit me again—this time from the front!"
Daemon: "…"
Yamamoto Mei: "…?"
Miyuki Uchiha: "Pfft—HAHA! What is this? Did Akainu get possessed by Zoro and Baki's Yujiro Hanma at the same time?!"
