Tanaka lost track twice, summoned his map twice again just to find the correct path and fortunately for him, he succeeded.
He burst out of the lone forest only to meet the very same cliff that overlooked the river. The very same river he had attempted his suicide mission and still failed.
Then Tanaka realized.
"Where is that damn rock that caused me to stumble. What am I? A nobody? I couldn't even commit suicide successfully. Arghh!"
[Remember, you can only improve with my help]
Tanaka's eyes turned bloodshot.
"Fuck you Aèos! And where the hell is the reward?"
[...oh!]
Tanaka's eyes widened, almost like the God of wisdom forgot about it.
"So much for being the God of wisdom."
A notification popped up in his line of sight.
Ding!
[You have received a passive skill]
[Automatic skill check…]
[Calculative Mind]
Tanaka sneered.
"Is that even a skill?"
[It makes you capable of calculation. Previously you're just a dumbass, now you've improved mentally.]
"Ouch."
That was true, Tanaka never calculated or thought through all of his decisions and it is definitely the major reason why everything is in opposition to him.
Ding!
[Special Mission: Effort X Reward.
Rewards:
+2 increase in all attributes.
+1 Skill book.]
Tànaka stared at the rune in front of him and blinked.
"Two attribute points?"
He immediately opened his window information and a bright runes appeared right after the former disappeared.

Tanaka sighed.
Previously, his star level was 0 but now he saw it has added just 1.
"Ah, like a snail's crawl."
He realized that completing special missions, probably add to his Star level.
Tanaka immediately decided to lay complaint.
"Hey Aèos, why didn't I receive notification about my star level?"
[...]
[I've been programmed that way. You won't always see a notice]
Tanaka shook his head. "So it means I might get the notification other times?"
[Exactly.]
Tanaka rolled his eyes. "What a cheap system."
He went back to reading the rest of the information.
"My talents though… It seemed quite strange to call Ball control a talent. But wait… one's ability to control the ball is quite suited to be called talent, gaah!"
He shook his head.
"I'm babbling. I'm babbling out rubbish."
New information appeared.
[Internet: WWW.internet.org… defines Ball control as : — the ability to control a ball using the legs, thighs and feet.

2. First touch: Controlling the ball with the first touch, allowing for smooth transition to the next action.
Passing Skills
1. Short passing: Passing the ball over short distances to maintain possession.
2. Long passing: Passing the ball over longer distances to switch play or find teammates.

1. Volleys: Hitting the ball before it touches the ground.
2. Half-volleys: Hitting the ball just after it bounces off the ground.
Dribbling Skills
1. Step-overs: A move where a player steps over the ball with one foot while keeping the other foot on the ground.
2. Inside cuts: A move where a player cuts the ball inside with the inside of their foot.
3. Outside cuts: A move where a player cuts the ball outside with the outside of their foot.
4. Nutmeg: A skill move where a player kicks the ball through an opponent's legs.
These skills are fundamental to playing football and can be developed through practice and training.]
Tanaka's eyes widened in surprise.
"Wow, so I can use the internet without my phone?"
[...]
[Just like your phone charges for a subscription to browse the internet, this system isn't free of charge. I just allowed you to get this knowledge out of self-pity. Next time, your attribute points would be deducted for every internet use.]
Tanaka's face twisted in a frown.
"What did you say? Self pity? Did I ask for this in the first place? What a sick ass system. And yes, deducting my attribute points for every internet usage is very absurd."
Aèos did not respond and Tanaka did not grumble either. Almost as if they were used to each other's insults.
And after scanning through the info, the only thing that caught his attention is under Soccer Skills:
Under it, a [New]
Showed there.
Tanaka smiled. It should be the skill book reward, he realized.
He focused on the New, just as Aèos had taught him and other runes appeared after the former one disappeared.
[Reward from Special Mission]
[Skill book]
[Unraveling skill book. It is like a roulette wheel, you can either be lucky or unlucky.]
Tanaka's eyes widened.
"Wait, wait, wait, wait, what?? Aèos, what's it about the damn roulette wheel?"
[...]
[Skill books rank from grade-0 to grade-5 and every skill book siphoned out must be unraveled to discover their rank. That's what is happening to your skill book.]
Tanaka's eyes widened yet again.
"What a rip-off."
[Unraveling process will take five minutes]
"Urgh, kiss my ass." Tanaka cursed as he waited patiently, praying.
And finally.
[Skill book, successfully unraveled]
[Skill details:
(Dribbling)
Step-over: A move where a player steps over the ball with one foot.
(Shooting)
Instep drive: A powerful shot hit with the laces of the shoe.
(Other)
Tackling: Winning the ball back from an opponent.]
Tanaka's eyes glimmered with excitement as it suddenly felt as if he could attempt the skills displayed, almost like they were siphoned into his memory.
Now, for the finalization.
[Analyzing Skill grades…]

So, the fourth chapter so far... How was it? The football prompts I gave here, is it something negligible or should I adjust anything?
This is the first time I'm writing this, like I said, criticism is welcomed. It gives room for more improvement.
As for voting, we are not open yet. I'll let you all know when that happens.
