Chapter 1 - chapter 1 & 2

Chapter 1: Congratulations, You Have Been Forcefully Enlightened

When Xian Yu opened his eyes, he wasn't on his bed.

Or his couch.

Or any place a sane human would expect to be after binge-watching cultivation dramas until 3 a.m.

He was lying on a bed of soft, glowing blue grass. Towering bamboo trees surrounded him like gentle sentinels, and twin suns lazed overhead, blinking in sync as if mildly disappointed in him.

"...This isn't my apartment," he muttered.

He patted his chest. No wounds. No phone either. Not even his wallet. But he had his clothes, which was already a blessing in the wild lottery of transmigration.

Suddenly, a voice echoed directly in his head, like a calm Siri that had overdosed on celestial energy drinks.

[Welcome to the Cultivation Realm: Tianxuan.]

[System Binding... Complete.]

[You are now the Host of the Sect-Creation System.]

Xian Yu blinked. "Sect what?"

[Main Objective: Build the Greatest Sect in All Realms.]

[Side Objective: Recruit 12 Unique Disciples. Each holds the key to your destiny.]

[Note: Due to Host's accidental death by slipping on expired cup noodles, a compensation package has been granted.]

[You begin at: Grandmaster Realm.]

"…I knew those noodles tasted like betrayal," Xian Yu groaned.

Before he could fully process his reincarnation into the world of sword beams and heaven-defying geniuses, something splashed nearby.

Plop!

Turning his head, he saw a tiny golden dragon no longer than a watermelon flailing in a shallow spirit pond. Its little wings were soggy, its tail shimmered faintly, and its round eyes sparkled with curiosity.

It looked at him like he'd just declared himself edible.

"Shoo. I'm having an existential crisis," he whispered.

The dragon ignored him.

Instead, it climbed out of the water, its wet scales glimmering under the twin suns—and suddenly glowed.

Not a gentle glow. A violent one.

A column of rainbow-colored light exploded from its body, sending spirit butterflies scattering and Xian Yu flying backward into a bush.

He emerged dazed, face covered in twigs, only to find the dragon gone.

In its place stood a naked toddler boy, around two years old, with messy golden hair, sharp golden eyes, and a small, glittering scale on his forehead.

He looked at Xian Yu with a triumphant expression that said, I know I'm cute, feed me.

"…Did I just witness a live-action Pokémon evolution?" Xian Yu murmured.

[System Alert: Aura Surge triggered Forced Humanization.]

[Species: Celestial Infant Dragon → Human Form (Young Male).]

[System Decision: Host's aura has imprinted on newborn. Binding complete.]

[Congratulations. You now have a son.]

"WHAT?!" Xian Yu screamed.

The toddler wobbled toward him, his bare feet crunching spirit grass, arms outstretched.

"Papa!" he declared.

Xian Yu fainted.

---

When he woke up (again), the boy was chewing on his sleeve with quiet intensity.

"Hungry," the child said simply, chewing like a spirit beast on a sugarcane stick.

"I… I don't have dragon formula, alright?"

[Minor Task Generated: Feed the Child.]

[Reward Upon Completion: Sect Building Feature Unlocked.]

Xian Yu sighed, scanning the area until he spotted a glowing herb nearby. It looked vaguely edible—at least it wasn't hissing or breathing fire.

He yanked it out and handed it over. "Here. Try not to explode."

The boy sniffed it, took a bite, and his eyes lit up.

"Tasty."

[Task Complete.]

[Reward: Spirit Pool Lv.1 Unlocked.]

[A natural spring capable of nurturing disciples, purifying spiritual roots, and relaxing the Host's back pain.]

A glowing mini-map appeared in his mind. It marked the nearby pond, now officially labeled:

> [Your Backyard Now.]

Xian Yu stared at the sky. "Let me get this straight."

"One: I died tripping over noodles."

"Two: I was reborn with a system."

"Three: I'm now a grandmaster."

"Four: I adopted a dragon baby who calls me Papa."

"Five…" He looked at the toddler, who had started chasing butterflies while randomly breathing tiny sparks of flame. "This world is ridiculous."

The boy returned, dragging a long blade of spirit grass, and held it up proudly. "Weapon."

"No," Xian Yu said flatly.

"Papa," the boy insisted, hugging his leg.

Xian Yu felt his heart twist slightly. "Alright, fine. But if you torch the backyard, you're getting time-out."

The boy nodded seriously. "Okay, Papa."

The wind stirred gently. Bamboo leaves rustled.

In a distant kingdom, a girl knelt alone before the grave of her abandoned sword, her cultivation shattered, her engagement broken, her future uncertain.

She didn't know it yet—but fate was about to send her a storm.

No… a ridiculous man with a baby dragon and a broken sense of calm.

Chapter 2: The First Storm Brews

In the heart of a great empire known as Jinlong, where cultivators soared like dragons and immortals were whispered of with reverence, there lived a girl named Lin Xue.

Lin Xue was once a prodigy.

Born into the esteemed Lin Clan, her spiritual roots were considered pure enough to rival phoenix tears. At fifteen, she had reached the Foundation Establishment realm. At sixteen, she was engaged to the Crown Prince of Jinlong, a young genius who wielded fire like it was part of his soul.

Everyone said she would ascend.

But fate had different plans.

Two months before the wedding, her cultivation collapsed.

It didn't shatter—it withered.

Like a flower exposed to poison, her meridians twisted. Her spiritual energy drained each day, leaving her weaker, colder, until she was nothing more than an ordinary girl with a pale face and eyes full of questions.

And fear.

Her clan tried every method they could—spirit pills, treasure herbs, even seeking help from wandering elders—but nothing worked. Then came the shame.

The Crown Prince—her fiancé—renounced the engagement.

He didn't do it kindly. In the town square, he called her a liability. A woman without cultivation was no better than a maid.

Her parents wept in silence. Her clan distanced themselves. And Lin Xue, once adored and revered, became a ghost in her own household.

Now, at eighteen, she wandered through the snow-drenched peaks of a distant forest, far from her clan's lands, searching for a quiet place to die.

But fate had just begun to take interest in her.

---

Meanwhile…

Xian Yu watched as his son poked the Spirit Pool with a stick.

"Papa, pond sparkle," the boy said wisely.

"Yeah, that's called dangerous cultivation energy. Don't fall in."

The little dragon-boy pouted, then crawled up beside him under the bamboo shade.

They had been there for two days, slowly exploring the system's unlocked features. So far, Xian Yu had received:

A simple Sect Master's Residence (complete with bamboo flooring and a celestial-grade tea set)

A Basic Resource Hall (currently empty)

One Immortal Cook Staff (non-human, looked vaguely like a cheerful uncle made of qi and smoke)

And of course, the golden-haired toddler who called him Papa and had learned how to incinerate bugs on command.

[Minor Task: Discover and Save a Destined Disciple.]

[Reward: Thousand Sword Formation (Defensive Type).]

"Huh. System," he muttered, "give me a map or a compass or… something?"

[Locating Destined Disciple...]

[Target Found: Lin Xue, location - Northern Icewind Peaks. Estimated Travel: One Day.]

[A pathway has been illuminated.]

A shimmering trail appeared in the grass ahead.

Xian Yu stood up slowly, brushing his sleeves.

He looked down at his son, who was now meditating cross-legged like he had seen in cartoons.

"We're going on a trip, kid."

The toddler opened one eye. "Adventure?"

"Sort of. Let's go save a tragic beauty from lifelong trauma."

"Okie-dokie."

And just like that, a Grandmaster cultivator and his two-year-old dragon child stepped into the unknown, heading toward a young woman who had lost everything… and was about to gain something more than she ever imagined.
