Chapter 26 - Chapter 26 – Wings of Judgment

---

Divine Realm – Veil Between Worlds

A rift tore open, crackling with heavenly fire.

From its heart descended three Executioners, each cloaked in celestial armor, halos burning crimson. No wings. Just judgment.

> "Target: Rael Valtair."

"Status: Abomination."

"Sentence: Erasure."

They pierced through the sky like meteors—headed straight for the Tower.

---

Floor 70 – Warped Library

Rael stood before a massive sealed door. Symbols of ancient gods and forbidden knowledge glowed across its surface.

Behind him, the air shimmered.

"I know that presence," he said, not turning.

A familiar voice responded.

"You always were one step ahead, even when the world hunted you."

He turned to face Lyra.

She looked at him with stormy eyes—grief, anger, hope... all colliding.

"It's really you," she said softly.

Rael nodded. "And you've changed. You're stronger now."

"I prayed for you every day," she whispered. "Even when they said you were dead. Even when they called you a monster."

He stepped closer. "I was dead. And I am a monster now."

"Then let me remind you of what you were."

---

Before she could reach him, the tower shook violently.

A divine presence pressed down like gravity multiplied tenfold. Even Lyra gasped, forced to her knees.

Rael's eyes narrowed.

"They're here."

---

Outside the Tower – Sky Splitting Apart

The three Divine Executioners landed on the world like gods of war.

The Tower flared in resistance. Dozens of hunters fled as the atmosphere thickened with holy intent.

From his vantage point, Seraph-Rael looked up.

"The extermination squad... they're breaking the rules."

He turned to Aeris, who now stood beside him. "If Rael kills them, the heavens will descend in full."

Aeris frowned. "Then maybe they should."

---

Floor 83 – Plains of Stillness

The Executioners appeared before Rael in synchronized flashes.

The lead one, cloaked in gold flame, pointed a burning spear.

"Rael Valtair. You walk with corrupted divinity. You've consumed what was never meant for mortals. You must die."

Rael drew his black blade.

"No. I must live."

The Executioners attacked.

And Rael, now armed with Therion's stolen fire, fought three gods at once.

The skies howled.
