Listened so hard to know who they were greeting,"evening thank you" and lo and behold! it was my dad..,. His deep cold voice…..a voice I could never,like ever get used to…..
Like how the fuck is he here so early,oh God,am so fucked...
The next thing I heard is the creaking sound of our net opening.,.,..ok double fuck.,. The net is open,he's literally going to kill me.,., and this is why I literally hate being the first born.,.,everything would be blamed on me.,.,,,
Immediately he entered,I greet him at once,he just looked at me with the eyes I know too well,…he didn't answer me,just went straight to his chair I have known to become his favorite,he literally doesn't seat on another chair apart from that one…..
Seeing he didn't answer me, I was about to turn back and head into our small room,till his deep voice stopped me.,.,.,,
"Why did you people leave the net opened?"he asked me...
"Uhmmm daddy, i didn't know it was not locked, I told them to lock it "I replied….
"So u didn't know and when you told them to lock the net you can't make sure they locked it, right?,then why are you the senior?"he shouted…..
At this point I don't even know what to do, I was just looking down at my toes…..
"Did you wash the clothes I asked you to wash?" He asked….

No uhmmm I didn't….
"Why?" He asked almost immediately

"Taniel,get my my belt"he called for my immediate junior sister….
Taniel entered,bringing one of the belts,he used to flog us anytime we were being very disobedient or especially when we tell lies or he meets us with a boy…..
Immediately I started begging,daddy please I won't do it again,daddy please first thing tomorrow morning,I would wash it,daddy pls I beg you….
It turned on deaf ears,he wasn't even listening to me….
Then he started beating me, all over my body,from my head to my toes,he didn't even listen to my pleas,he just continued…..I think he got tired of that,because the next minute,he said,"lie down flat on your stomach….
I gasped… no way…..
I was begging him at this point trying to let him understand but he refused….
He was flogging me,focusing on my arms,my back and legs,where it would be visible…

After beating me for more than 15 mins he let me go…as I was standing, he said,
"Now go to the bathroom and have a proper bath,you stink!"
I just bowed my head and clean the tears that's threatening to fall again,before taking my bucket and soap dish,to go have my bath….
