Konoha, Year 25
9:30 p.m.
The sun had long set, but Hokage Rock remained distinguishable under the soft light of the village. The streets of Konoha were mostly empty now, yet a faint trace of liveliness lingered in the night air. A cool breeze drifted by, carrying with it the village's distinct sense of peace.
Uchiha Tatsumi walked silently down the road. He was alone, clad in a dark windbreaker bearing the Uchiha clan's traditional fan crest. His gaze was calm, but his thoughts were anything but.
It had been five years since Uchiha Tatsumi transmigrated into the world of Naruto.
His father had already passed before he arrived, and his mother—grieving and fragile—died shortly after childbirth. He was alone from the start. The cliché "parents die early, loot what you can" trope fit him perfectly.
It took him a few months to fully grasp where he had landed: the shinobi world of Naruto, where war, death, and betrayal were as common as ramen stalls.
And he had terrible luck.
This wasn't a world of warmth and friendship—it was filled with A-rank missions, assassination plots, Akatsuki lunatics, and genocidal wars. If you planned to just "grind levels" until the Fourth Great Ninja War, you might find yourself dead before the Chūnin Exams.
And not everyone gets the protagonist buff.
Tatsumi, like any rational transmigrator, had originally dreamed of a chill life: learn some ninjutsu, enjoy hot pot, maybe open a bookstore... until reality hit him like a Rasengan.
Because, well... his surname was Uchiha.
The moment he learned that, he nearly kicked open the door of the neighboring clan head's house to strangle Uchiha Fugaku in his crib. Just thinking about the massacre twenty years from now made his skin crawl.
Not that he could beat Fugaku anyway.
Even if the massacre didn't happen, Tatsumi had no illusions. This world didn't hand out plot armor to side characters.
Then came another punch: his late father's name was Uchiha Kagami.
Yes, that Kagami. The elite shinobi who served under Tobirama Senju, the Second Hokage. A prodigy and one of the few Uchiha trusted by the Senju. He died at age twenty-five under "unclear" circumstances during a mission.
Twenty-five!
The comrades Kagami once trained with? Hiruzen became the Third Hokage. Danzō became the founder of Root. Homura and Koharu were advisors to the Hokage. Kagami? Dead and forgotten.
And here's the kicker: Kagami was canonically the ancestor of Uchiha Shisui—yes, that Shisui. The Body Flicker God. But the ages didn't quite line up for Shisui to be Kagami's son. Grandson, maybe. Still...
Yet Kagami only had one known child.
Uchiha Tatsumi.
So… he was Shisui's father?
What kind of Walter White nonsense was this?
Imagine transmigrating into a new world and immediately unlocking "Start with Son: Shisui Uchiha" mode. At this point, Tatsumi didn't know if he should feel honored or start preparing his will.
Because Shisui? Shisui died young too.
So did Kagami.
If this pattern kept up, Tatsumi was going to die before he even hit puberty. Uchiha genes were cursed.
Still, no point crying about it.
Since his body could handle it, he'd spent the last five years training: taijutsu, shuriken throwing, basic hand signs. No time to be a salted fish.
Or, at the very least, he'd be a salted fish that flipped over.
Fortunately, Kagami had completed numerous S-rank missions during his short life, and had stashed away a decent inheritance. Combine that with the orphan stipend from Konoha, and Tatsumi lived comfortably enough.
Thank the Will of Fire his inheritance wasn't embezzled. Unlike Naruto, who lived off expired milk and barely scraped together enough for Ichiraku's ramen.
Tatsumi even gave thanks to the Fire Daimyō, the Third Hokage, and the tax system.
But he didn't rely solely on willpower and cash. He had a trump card: the classic transmigrator's companion—a cheat-like system.
It first activated when he extracted chakra at age four. Then it ghosted him.
Typical.
For months, nothing happened. But eventually, he discovered through testing that exercise generated "Ninja Points." Whether it was training taijutsu, shuriken, or even reading, the system acknowledged effort.
Just today, after a training run, a voice echoed in his mind:
> "Host has completed 200 laps. Ninja Points +10."
He still didn't know what the points were for, but today, it finally changed.
> "Host Ninja Points have reached 2000. Panel unlocked."
Tatsumi's heart pounded. He sprinted back to his modest home on the outskirts of the Uchiha compound. After his parents died, the clan reclaimed their main house and pushed him into a run-down side property. It was shabby, but clean—and private.
"I'm home," he said softly to the portrait of his parents on the wall.
He closed the door, ran to his futon, and whispered eagerly: "System! What can I do with Ninja Points? Come on, talk to me, bro!"
A panel appeared in his mind, visible only to him.
