They said I was born broken. White hair, hollow bones, a body better suited to a coffin than a blade. In a Empire where might rules and weakness dies young, I was nothing more than a mistake waiting to be buried. When the solar eclipse devoured the sun, something inside me cracked. Not mercy. Not magic. Something older. Something monstrous. And as the shadows stretched across the land, so did my resolve. I won’t beg to belong anymore. I’ll carve my place into the bones of the world, even if I have to bleed for every inch. Short chapters 400 chapters. First novel please enjoy and help this novel. Thanks!

Chapter 1 - In the night

In the peaceful night inside a cave in one of the most secluded mountains of the continent of Cardia, a cave whose entrance looks natural and untouched hides a sad truth.

"Commander Daren is running late; still no news from the main palace?"

"Not yet... damn."

"Should someone go and check?"

"No ... we must stick to the plan."

"Even if we wait longer, we will regroup with Commander Daren at dawn and transport the summoning artifact."

"...?"

"You! Who are you?!"

Inside such a secluded mountain that looks untouched by the human hand, deeper in the cave, torches and supplies are found, and near the end of the cave, a little barbaric-looking throne lies. As the unknown group chats among themselves, a man makes his way towards them with his sword in the sheath.

"How did you get in here?"

"The past should not be resurrected."

"What is this senile saying? Hey, if you do not want your head on the ground—

"!!!!"

Without having the right to finish his threat, the masked man's head is cut off without anyone able to react.

"You've got some guts for a demonic worshiper."

"W-what is he?!"

"I didn't even see the sword leave his sheath!"

"A sword is the most beautiful when it doesn't leave its sheath after all."

"..."

Perhaps because of fear, no one from the masked group moved, listening to the man in front of them who just killed the second in command in a second.

"Those who still have some humanity left surrender... now or never."

"Kill! Kill him!"

"Charge, he is the only one !"

"If we leave him alive, we are dead anyway!"

As they charge, the man grabs the sword handle, and a faint light appears on the opponent's bodies. Without being able to get too close, the man draws his sword, and countless strikes are being sent, leaving no one else but him to tell the story of today's massacre.

"... So even mere worshipers leave their humanity aside. What a pity."

Looking rather disappointed, the man makes his way through the bodies and the blood that started leaking on the ground and arrives near the rather barbaric throne at the end of the cave and picks up a box with a weird symbol on it.

"So no one surrendered after all."

While picking up the box, a voice calls him from behind, and as he turns around, a familiar face welcomes him.
