On the continent of Glydendal is a grand state known as The Sathrenmore Empire, a vast land that stretches from sea to sea. This Empire was once served by a mercenary band, one known as The Crimson Conclave.
The Conclave was both idolized and famous. Infamous and dreaded. The Empire's foes tasted many defeats to The Conclave, leaving them undefeated until the Massacre of Markel.
On that bloody day did the Empire's heroes break, with their leader slain and forces culled, the remaining warriors of The Conclave scattered and were no more.
But on that day was a title well earned, baptized in blood and sin was a beast brought onto this world. Sorrow and wrath gripping its heart, with a reputation that would strike fear like a thunder of dragons.
And that man was named The Red Wolf of Markel.
