Chapter 2 - Hiroshiki Raze #1

My name is Hiroshisiki Raze, and I was born in Quenstown Village, in the land of Middle Earth. I was destined to become the next Earth Elemental user, but I didn't realize it at first.

Five years passed quickly, and I was raised by my mother and a nurse who I affectionately called Aunt May. However, my mother had been suffering from a severe illness since my birth.

One day, I sat on my mother's lap and asked, "Why do you look so pale today, Mother?" She hugged me tightly and said, "I'll be gone soon, take care of yourself, my child." I was devastated and begged her not to leave me. Tears streamed down my face as I trembled with fear.

"Please don't leave me, Mother!" She kissed my forehead, and her hug weakened. "I love you," she whispered.

I was consumed by grief, and my body shook uncontrollably. I held her tight, pleading with her to stay. But it was too late; she had left me. That was the last day I spent with my mother. My father had passed away in battle before I was born, leaving me without parents.

Two years later, I was taken care of by Aunt May, who raised me in her small house. I wanted to move in with her instead of staying in my mother's house, which held too many painful memories. Initially, everything seemed fine, but after Aunt May got married, we faced financial difficulties.

I felt like a burden to their family and couldn't bear the pain anymore. So, I ran away to the nearby forest.

At first, I didn't have a proper place to live, but I managed to build a treehouse on my own. As time passed, I grew accustomed to living in the forest with the wild animals.

One day, I went out to gather firewood for the night, and as I walked, I was followed by dozens of wild animals. I didn't mind; in fact, I enjoyed their company. I continued my journey, singing and whistling as I went.

As the day drew to a close, I had spent most of my time exploring the forest, climbing hills, and fishing. I stopped for a moment when I saw a large mushroom near a tree. "Look, this mushroom is bigger than the others," I said to myself. "It would make a great dinner."

Just as I was about to pick it, a squirrel suddenly appeared from above and snatched the mushroom from me. It then started teasing me, and I couldn't help but laugh.

As the sun began to set, I decided it was time to head back. But before I could take a step, a group of wolves howled in the distance. Suddenly, three small elf princesses appeared from the front, flying and hiding behind my back.

"Please help us!" they begged, their breathing labored. "We've been chased by a pack of mischievous wolves."

I was taken aback, but I tried to reassure them. "Don't worry, I'm here to help." The wolves drew closer, and I could see them surrounding us. The alpha male growled, baring his teeth.

The omega wolves howled, and the elf princesses trembled with fear. I stood my ground, trying to appear fierce, but the wolves didn't seem to care.

Just as they were about to attack, they suddenly stopped and retreated, leaving only the alpha male behind. He growled softly and then turned around, disappearing into the woods.

I was stunned, unsure of what had just happened. The elf princesses were equally perplexed. "What just happened?" I asked, still trying to process the events.

The elf princesses looked at me with a mix of confusion and gratitude.
