Lucian made his way to the Monster Association, the venue that grants access to dungeons in this realm. There are three main powers that dominate the landscape:
1. **The Monster Association**: This organization oversees the dungeons and allows entry, effectively functioning like a black market but within legal boundaries.
2. **The Hunter Association**: Tasked with hunting down monsters and demons, this group is also responsible for safeguarding the world from such threats.
3. **The Palace of Trinity**: An enigmatic entity, it comprises seven of the twelve strongest individuals in this world. Known for their secrecy and mystique, this group has gained a reputation due to their power and obscurity.
In addition to these, there are counties and kings, but their influence pales compared to these three factions.
As Lucian pondered these thoughts, he arrived at the Monster Association and was met by a burly man.
"Hello there, young man! How can I assist you?"
"I'd like to enter a dungeon, please," Lucian responded.
"Oh, are you looking for a way to meet your demise?" the man chuckled, glancing at Lucian's G rank. Nevertheless, he handed Lucian a tablet displaying the available dungeons.
"Select your preferred location, young man."
"Okay," Lucian thought, 'What's up with this old man?'
He showed the man the tablet displaying a rank F Star dungeon.
"Are you certain this is a rank F dungeon?" the man asked, eyeing the G-rank boy.
"Yes, and I'd like to stay for a month."
"You're out of your mind, haha," the man laughed, but he continued with his duties and gave Lucian a key.
"Room 13, Floor 7, in the Starlight dungeon. Just don't get yourself killed, boy; you've got a bright future ahead with looks like that," he joked, acknowledging that Lucian was quite handsome.
'Just wait for a month, old man; I'll show you how strong I can get,' Lucian thought as he walked towards his dungeon.
...
Upon arrival, Lucian used the key to unlock the Mana gate, which also served as a mana key.
As he stepped inside, he encountered a young man, likely in his early twenties.
"Hello, you must be Lucian Starlight. Staying here for a month, right?"
"Yep."
"Here's a bracelet; press it if you need rescuing. However, if you die, don't say we didn't warn you, as outlined in the contract you signed," the man said, handing Lucian the bracelet along with a storage ring filled with food. Lucian had spent all his money on both the dungeon and provisions.
"Try to survive, young man."
"Sure," Lucian replied, venturing deeper into the dungeon.
...
As Lucian's senses adjusted, he took in his surroundings, which sparkled like the night sky. This dungeon had a starry ambiance, and Lucian had chosen it due to his affinity for light, stars, and the moon. His affinities were uncommon, making this star-themed dungeon the only option that might enhance his control over them.
"I'll be training here for a month," he said, feeling a surge of excitement as he began to test his abilities.
"Let's go find some monsters."
...
Quietly navigating the area, he stumbled upon a group of goblins.
"G Rank monsters, the same level as me, but there are about twelve of them."
"Let's see what I can do," he said, focusing on calling upon his affinity.
"Oh, this is pretty easy," he remarked, shimmering starlight appearing in his hands.
"Let's put it to the test," he declared, hurling the starlight at the goblins, which didn't kill them but caused some damage.
"Oh no," he muttered as the goblins turned their attention towards him.
Thus, Lucian's month of training commenced—with him being chased by goblins.
"Shittt!!!" he yelled.
