"Huh?"
Alex blinked, his voice coming out before his thoughts could catch up.
The tension in the room was so thick, it could've been cut with a knife.
The silver haired kid looked at Alex straight into his eyes and repeated,
"You're in my sit."
Alex glanced down at the bench—its peeling paint a quiet testament to years of use. There was plenty of space to spare, yet the silver-haired kid remained unmoving. He glanced between the empty spots on the bench and him.
As if reading his mind, the kid responded with an even colder tone and a flicker of impatience in his voice.
"You are in my sit."
A slight shiver ran through his spine as he heard the cold voice. With a defeated sigh he got up and moved to the side as he muttered to himself.
"Alright, alright, Geez, you don't have to skin me alive over a bench."
He said as he shifted to the side. The Silver haired kid looked at him as he sat down. A flicker of interest passed through his eyes as he looked at Alex - gone just as quickly as it came.
Alex noticing this, couldn't help but feel exasperated.
"What?... is this your sit too?"
The silver haired kid looked at him briefly and dug into his food completely ignoring him.
As the situation de-escalated, it was like the whole building released a sigh of relief. The kids continued to eat their food.
Mother Terrisa glanced over at the two boys eating quietly in the corner and couldn't help but shake her head slightly. She smiled to herself as she left the hall to continue her duties.
'At least they're not so isolated anymore.'
She thought as she exited the hall.

The Orphanage that they stayed at was run by the Church. Although they did get financial support from donations from people or organisations, it was offset by the number of children they took in.
This caused the orphanage to suffer considerably with finances and was a constant worry for Mother Terrisa.
In an Office that was located inside the orphanage, Mother Terrisa was sitting in one of the chairs facing the entrance of the office.
The small office was lit by a single candle on the desk, its flame casting dancing shadows across the book-lined walls.
*KNOCK* *KNOCK*
A gentle knock distracted Mother Terrisa from her reading. She looked up at the door and responded.
"Come in."
The timber door creaked open, groaning under its own weight. As the door gently opened, a young gentle voice filled the office.
"Good afternoon, Mother Terrisa."
A young nun greeted her with a gentle smile as she walked into the little office to take a seat on the opposite chair. The young nun looked to be no older than sixteen, her blonde hair flowing like sunlight over her shoulders, and her emerald eyes brimming with warmth. A soft innocence clung to her like the scent of fresh linen.
"Good afternoon, Rebecca, How Is the Orphanage treating you?"
A big smile appeared on her face and excitement was visible in her eyes as she thought about being in the orphanage and helping.
"It has been amazing; Alex and Lucian were a big help showing around and getting me used to the place."
She responded with childlike innocent that made Mother Terrisa smile. She looked at the young nun and responded.
"I'm glad you're getting used to it, keep an eye on that troublesome duo."
She instructed with a tired sigh as if she had the weight of the whole world on her aged shoulders. Sister Rebecca couldn't help but chuckle a little and laughed at Mother Terrisa's plight.
"*CHUCKLE* I will do as you say Mother."
She continued to smile slightly as she thought of that inseparable duo, a thought came to her as she was thinking about them and couldn't help but ask,
"Mother, I've noticed that the other children avoid them, why is that, are they being bullied?"
Mother Terrisa couldn't help but laugh at the question as if she just heads the funniest thing in the world.
"Those two being bullied. God would come down to Earth before those two ever start to get bullied."
This response surprised the young innocent, Rebecca. She wanted to continue asking more questions when Mother Terrisa stopped her with a slight wave of her hand.
"Anyways, enough about those two. I am sure you noticed how the orphanage is struggling."
"Yes Mother, I did notice."
Rebecca responded with some apprehension in her voice.
"Good, it pains me to see it, that is why I want you to be in charge of our finances and help us control them."
This statement startled the innocent Rebecca, confusion was written on her face as she asked
"Mother, why me...?"
As if expecting the question Mother Terrisa responded,
"Because you are new here and don't know anyone among us, sister."
Her response was filled with ambiguous air, but she continued nevertheless
"And I trust your skills and abilities."
Rebecca looked at the lady in front of her, she couldn't help but admire her beauty and wisdom. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath as though she wanted to inhale all the air in the office.
Mother Terrisa smiled a little at the young girl's antics. Rebecca opened her eyes that were now shining even more brightly with resolve as she responded.
"I will do my best Mother Terrisa and thank you for trusting me."

The winter air passed leaving way for spring to come with all its beauty. The air was filled with the scent of flowers and the trees swaying slightly from the winds as though doing a dance.
Two boys could be seen lying down on an open field basking under the sun. One was tall and had sliver hair while the other was slightly shorter and had Black hair.
They both were enjoying their time when a shadow loomed over them. They both frowned as they opened their eyes to see a young innocent nun with green eyes and blonde hair looking at them and had her hands on her hips.
Alex looked at Rebecca and greeted her with an air of nonchalant.
"Morning Rebecca." After he greeted her, not waiting for her response he went back to basking in the sun after shifting slightly away from Rebecca's shadow.
Rebecca looked at them and couldn't help but sigh at their antics,
"*SIGH* Lucian, Alex, are you both not going to help with the morning duties?"
Alex responded to her while still basking in the sun
"Come on we help out in other ways; can't a man get some rest around here?"
While both Alex and Rebecca were talking, Lucian looked at Rebecca intently with an unreadable expression.
As if sensing his stare, Rebecca looked at Lucian as well. As slight blush appeared on her face making her look even cuter.
"Is there something on my face?" She asked shyly as she looked down trying to avoid Lucian's eyes.
He looked at her and responded with a simple word, "No."
Alex looked at their interaction and muttered under his breath, "Real Smooth bro."
After Lucian's response, an awkward silence fell between them, after what felt like an eternity for Rebecca, she responded
"I will leave you to your rest then."
She turned around and ran away as if escaping for her life. Lucian continued to look at her and only stopped when he heard Alex speaking
"Remind me never to ask for Relationship advice from you in the future."
Lucian looked at him with a perplexed expression as he asked
"Why?"
"Never mind, man," Alex muttered, closing his eyes.
