Chapter 2 - CH - [2]

Jiang Han observed the system's response before him, feeling an odd sense of familiarity.

"Where have I seen this before...?" he murmured, resting his chin on one hand as he sat upon the Throne of Sacred Light.

After a few seconds of reflection, a spark lit up his thoughts.

"Ah, of course! The angels... and the fallen ones!"

The enthusiastic attitude of the chat group… was almost identical to that of his angels in Heaven.

Ever since the official founding of the Heavenly Kingdom, Jiang Han had dealt with countless issues over his long existence.

One of them was his very own angels.

For them, every time their God traveled or intervened in the world, it had to be received with the utmost solemnity. The universe had to pause, and everyone was to pray and sing hymns of praise.Any deviation from perfection was seen as unacceptable.

And the worst part? The angels didn't stop at words. They took their devotion to extremes.

"Aren't angels supposed to embody purity and serenity?" he muttered, massaging his temples. "So why do they behave like this... with me?"

The fanatical loyalty of his followers had reached inhuman levels. They obeyed any command without question, even if it made no sense at all. That same blind devotion eventually twisted into a distorted fervor.

Thus, the fallen angels were born.

Not out of rebellion or sin, but because of an obsessive and unconditional love that corrupted their sacred nature. They were like succubi... only dressed in divine white.

Jiang Han recalled their excited faces, their trembling voices filled with worship, and let out a long, weary sigh.

"...That can wait for another time."

For now, his most pressing concern was the chat group.

He turned his attention back to the floating panel before him. The firmness in the system's wording made it clear there was no room for negotiation.

The dimensional chat group behaved just like those angels—obsessed with his very existence. It was his own creation… and yet, it was already starting to spiral out of control.

When he glanced back at the group, he saw the three new members already deep in a lively discussion… about him.

Every name in the group appeared normal. Regular people.

Except his.

[God, Lord, God of the Bible].There wasn't a single line of chat where his name didn't show up.

The ongoing debate between the three slowly edged closer to the truth behind the chat group.

Sighing, Jiang Han used his authority to shorten his display name. He also dimmed the overwhelming golden glow that surrounded it.

[God of the Bible]: I stepped away briefly for some important matters. Now, let's get back on topic.

[God of the Bible]: This chat group was created by me. It's a system designed to link countless worlds.

To avoid having to explain everything each time someone new joined, Jiang Han wrote a short description in the group's main announcement.

From then on, every new member would immediately see the group's purpose upon entry.

[God of the Bible]: I am God. The God of the Bible. "Lord," "Jehovah"—those are the names given to me by believers and angels.

[God of the Bible]: But I'm not the Jehovah you might know. Although, if that's how you perceive me… you're not entirely wrong either.

[God of the Bible]: After all, my story after traveling through time isn't so different.

[Yui Inori]: Lord… God?

[Xia Shizi]: Am I hallucinating from lack of sleep? Am I really in a chat group… with God?

[Asuna]: I want to question all of this… but the group has already proven its power. I can't deny it.

In the world of the sword, Yuuki Asuna stared at the floating screen before her, equal parts amazed and confused.

"It's real. The group that links worlds… actually exists."

She had already tested its authenticity several times.

No matter where she was—even if her phone was in another room—she could summon the group's interface just by thinking about it.

Reading her message, Jiang Han smiled. A flawless smile that could make any girl's heart tremble.

"This time... I don't need to convince them the group is real."

"Kasumigaoka Utaha and the others will find out on their own."

[Xia Shizi]: This is… unbelievable. Eighteen years of my life just got turned upside down! The God from legends… actually exists?

[Asuna]: And the craziest part is that we're in a chat group with him! Who would even believe me if I tried to tell someone?

[Yui Inori]: God...? God...? Wait, I'm going to do some research first.

[God of the Bible]: Don't take this too seriously. I'm a bit different from the "God" you have in mind.

[God of the Bible]: After all, I'm just an ordinary time traveler… who ended up becoming the God of the Bible, just as you imagined.

Jiang Han never hid his identity. From the beginning, both his believers and the angels in his service knew he was a time traveler.

For millennia, he never once tried to disguise his origin.

But over time, the believers began to embellish his story—turning it into sacred epics.Words like "noble," "omnipotent," or "eternal" became common in their chants and scriptures. And so, without him ever asking for it, the Bible was born.

A tale of legends passed down from mouth to mouth… that turned him into an absolute divine symbol.

In the world of Saekano, Kasumigaoka Utaha slowly lowered her phone. Her deep crimson eyes sparkled with amazement.

"A time traveler…?"

"And he became a God…? What even is this?!"

A moment later, she began tapping the floor with her long legs, laughing with overflowing excitement.

"This is even more incredible!"

"In the words of a light novel… this is the ultimate pinnacle! The final protagonist, the definitive version!"

"He's truly unbeatable!"
