Chapter 25 - Chapter 25:The Morning After the VIP Guest

The Morning After the VIP Guest Incident

Warm sunlight poured through the curtains of the luxurious penthouse suite. The scent of fresh roses drifted into Mira's senses before her eyes even opened. She stirred gently, the ache in her body a soft reminder of the passion and intensity from the night before.

Her lashes fluttered open—and there, right in front of her on the bedside table, sat the most breathtaking bouquet she'd ever seen.

Dozens of deep red roses bloomed in flawless symmetry, their velvet petals glistening with tiny morning dew drops. But what made Mira gasp was the center of it all—a single glass-encased vault rose, timeless and untouched, radiating elegance and eternity.

Attached was a handwritten note in Jerry's familiar, charming scrawl:

"I'll love you until the last rose dies... and since one never will, you're stuck with me forever. — Your Jerry."

Mira's heart squeezed. Her lips curved into a soft giggle, but tears shimmered in her eyes. Love, overwhelming and fierce, wrapped around her like silk. She clutched the note to her chest and whispered, "How did I get so lucky?"

Without wasting another moment, Mira leapt out of bed and padded barefoot down the polished hallway. Her silky robe fluttered as she tiptoed toward the office area of the penthouse.

There she was.

Jerry Kingston. Her tomboy queen. Sitting at the desk in a black tank top, messy hair tied up, glasses perched on her nose, looking devastatingly sexy while going through paperwork. Her focused expression, the way her jaw flexed as she read—Mira could watch her forever.

Mira leaned against the doorframe, beaming. "Good morning, sexy. I have a surprise."

Jerry didn't look up, only hummed softly, engrossed in some spreadsheet.

Mira pushed off the doorframe and walked closer.

"Jerry…"

Jerry finally looked up, taking off her glasses slowly. Her eyes flicked over Mira with that familiar mix of affection and amusement.

"No, Mira," Jerry said playfully, holding up a finger. "Not again. Whatever naughty plan you're cooking up, I have back-to-back meetings today."

Mira's lips formed a dramatic pout. "You're teasing me again…"

Jerry smirked, stretching in her chair like a smug cat. "Of course I am. You make it too easy."

"Not fair." Mira leaned down and wrapped her arms around Jerry from behind, pressing her cheek to Jerry's. "You gave me the most romantic morning… but now you're too busy to get kissed?"

"I never said that." Jerry turned her head slightly, capturing Mira's lips in a slow, teasing kiss. "I just said I'm busy. Doesn't mean I can't be bribed."

Mira laughed softly. "Bribed, huh? With what?"

Jerry's eyes sparkled. "Surprise me, wifey. You always do."

Mira smirked, already plotting something fun—and absolutely distracting.

Mira slid effortlessly into Jerry's lap, her thigh pressing against Jerry's as one hand traced lazy, featherlight circles over the hard ridges of her abs. Her other hand curled possessively around the back of Jerry's neck, pulling her in close until their noses brushed.

"Mmm," Mira hummed softly, her breath brushing against Jerry's skin as she kissed the edge of her jaw. "I planned something today, baby. Just us."

Jerry's smirk deepened, eyes narrowing with that dangerous spark that always made Mira's stomach flutter. She gently caught Mira's chin between her fingers, tilting her face up.

"Planned something, huh?" Jerry purred. "Because the way you're moving right now, it looks more like you're planning to end up back in our bedroom."

Mira's pout was adorably dramatic. "Nooo! I booked everything—reservations, private jet, hot villa by the beach, candles, and even a surprise outfit for you... please, my baby—hubby, let's go…"

Jerry's ears turned pink at the word hubby. Mira caught it, grinning wickedly as she pressed a soft kiss to Jerry's lips. "Please, my hubby…"

"You're too much," Jerry mumbled, clearly melting. But just as she tried to recover, Mira's tongue flicked playfully along her earlobe.

Jerry gasped softly.

"You can do whatever you want to me… in any position," Mira whispered with delicious intent, her words like silk wrapping around Jerry's willpower.

Jerry groaned low in her throat, fingers twitching against Mira's waist. "You know exactly how to handle me."

"So," Mira smiled, her voice sultry and sweet, "we're going?"

Jerry nodded, trying to act composed, but the smirk creeping on her lips betrayed her. "We're going. But you better not tease me during the flight."

Mira kissed her possessively, biting Jerry's lower lip before pulling back. "No promises."

"Mhhhnn," Jerry moaned softly, already ruined by the kiss. "You're delicious when you take control…"

Mira was about to lean in again when she pulled back, placing her finger gently on Jerry's lips. "Not now," she teased. "Wait until we arrive…"

Jerry's eyes burned, her pout almost comical. "You're copying me."

Mira giggled as she stood and helped Jerry up. Jerry, still warm and flustered, tugged Mira into a quick cuddle, burying her face into Mira's neck.

"You're mine," Jerry murmured.

"All yours," Mira whispered back. "Now let's make this honeymoon one we never forget."

The soft hum of the private jet filled the cabin as the city lights disappeared beneath the clouds. Jerry, finally getting a moment of rest after the chaos of the past few days, laid her head gently in Mira's lap. Her black polo shirt was slightly untucked, revealing the smooth, sculpted lines of her abs. Mira couldn't help but admire her, one hand brushing along Jerry's side as her fingers played with the hem of the shirt.

Two female staff members near the back glanced over and giggled softly. Mira caught it immediately. She narrowed her eyes and, with a smirk, gently tugged Jerry's shirt back down, protectively covering her. Jerry shifted slightly in her sleep, her cheek nuzzling into Mira's lower stomach.

That was all it took.

A sharp wave of heat coursed through Mira. Her breath hitched, and her back arched slightly. She bit her lip, her fingers clenching around the armrest. Jerry didn't even know what she was doing to her in her sleep. Mira leaned down and whispered to the staff, "Turn off the cabin lights." They obeyed instantly, leaving the jet bathed in soft golden hues from the side lamps.

Mira ran her fingers through Jerry's short messy hair, placing a warm kiss on her forehead. "You're too beautiful," she murmured. Jerry mumbled something in her sleep, eyes twitching slightly.

Mira's body was on fire. She tried to calm herself, clutching her clothes tightly, shifting in her seat. Her thighs pressed together, struggling with the growing heat. Then it happened again—Jerry unconsciously moved, her face brushing lower.

"Mmmh—Jerry…" Mira moaned, her voice a soft, desperate whisper.

Suddenly, Jerry's eyes fluttered open. Half-asleep, she looked up at Mira with lazy, hooded eyes. "Did I miss something fun?" she rasped.

Mira froze. Her cheeks turned crimson. "I—I didn't mean to… You were—"

Jerry smirked, her lips curling with that signature confidence. "So I was teasing you in my sleep, huh?" Her voice was low, thick with amusement. "What a lucky girl you are."

Mira's jaw dropped. "Jerry!"

Before she could say more, Jerry sat up slowly, her hands sliding under Mira's thighs, pulling her close. "You look like you're about to explode," Jerry teased, pressing her forehead to Mira's. "Wanna handle it together?"

Mira nodded shyly.

"Good," Jerry whispered, her hands already trailing under Mira's shirt. "But… let's save the fireworks for when we land. I want the whole bed, not a seatbelt digging into me."

Mira pouted. "Tease."

Jerry leaned in and gave her a slow, melting kiss. "Only yours."

The two cuddled close for the rest of the flight, Mira's head on Jerry's shoulder, both of them humming with anticipation.
