Chapter Twenty-Nine: The Project
For her final year prep, Andra's project was to design a sustainable classroom block for rural schools. She pitched her idea to a lecturer and was invited to speak at a small innovation expo.
Her father, dressed in a faded suit, came to watch.
After the applause, he hugged her.
"You've done more than we ever dreamed
As third year ended, Andra stood at the school gate with Kingsley. He was taller now, stronger. Just like her.
"I'm proud of you, Mommy."
She smiled. "I'm proud of me too."
