Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Reunion Begins

[Setting: A bustling airport terminal. Announcements echo. People rush past each other. The camera focuses on a young man in his early twenties — Dev — standing alone with a backpack slung over one shoulder.]

Dev (inner monologue): Three years. That's how long it's been.

[Dev scans the crowd. His eyes pause, and a faint smile appears.]

Dev (softly): There you are.

[Camera shifts to show Aryan — tall, glasses, hoodie, dragging a suitcase with stickers all over it. He looks around and spots Dev.]

Aryan (grinning): Oye, Dev! You actually came early for once!

[They walk toward each other and hug — firm and warm, like they never drifted apart.]

Dev (laughing): Had to make sure you didn't get lost again. Remember Delhi station?

Aryan: Hey! That wasn't my fault. Your directions sucked.

[They both laugh.]

Dev (narration): Some people walk back into your life like they never left. With Aryan, it was always that simple.

Aryan: So... where's our third idiot?

Dev (grinning): Landing in ten. You ready for the full trio reunion?

Aryan: Born ready. Let's go bring him home.

[Setting: A crowded train station. A train pulls in. Dev and Aryan wait near the platform.]

Dev: He should be here by now.

Aryan: He'll show up. Tejas is never early.

[The train screeches to a halt. Passengers pour out.]

[Moments later, Tejas appears, duffel bag over his shoulder, tired but smiling.]

Tejas: Did I miss anything?

Dev: You're late as usual.

Aryan: You didn't miss much — just Dev's clock-watching.

[They laugh and group hug.]

Tejas: Glad to see you guys. It's been too long.

Dev (narration): The trio. We'd been apart for years. But some things never change.

[They head out, rent a car, and drive toward a hotel on the outskirts of the city.]
