" What do you want here?"
Bryce face furrowed in scowl as he glared at Executioner.
Executioner smile wavered for a moment before he shrugged.
" I was just passing by...and I heard something about Raven, has he done something."
Bryce's expression softened slightly.
" It's nothing, Executioner. Go back to sleep."
Executioner turned to leave, a wicked spark in his eyes. As he walked away, Bryce slammed his hand on the table.
" You see, he's got a bit of wild streak,"
Jaxon face nodded in understanding.
" We can't change him, Bryce. He's been cursed with Raven's soul. It's now in his blood."
Bryce's eyes narrowed.
" What does that even mean?"
" It means, he's got a killer's instincts. And no amount of training can change that."
Executioner smile wickedly as he listened, then slipped out of his hiding spot. His small frame weaving between pillars as he explored the temple. Room by room, he crept, his eyes scanning for something that caught his interest. The scent of polished leather and metal guided him to a room overflowing with weapons.
His eyes widened as he scanned the arsenal. Knives, swords, and daggers lined the walls,
but one thing caught his eyes - explosives.
A wicked smile spread across his face as he grabbed seven bombs.
Without a sound, he slipped out of the room and padded towards the training grounds.
One by one, he tossed the bombs, each explosion booming through the air.
" what's that?
The siren blared to life, and assassins poured out of their quarters confusion was plain on their faces. Executioner run way, his giggles muffled as he hid behind a pillar.
As the assassins rushed to investigate,
Executioner's laughter became louder, his small body shaking with amusement. He peeked out, watching the chaos he'd created.
" Find out who did this!"
Jaxon said with anger on his face.
Executioner quickly run to his room and looked the door softly, then swing himself on the bed to pretend to be asleep.
The masters and assassins, including Bryce run to see what made the loud explosion. But when they got there, no one was around.
Jaxon turn to Bryce and asked,
" Where is Executioner?"
Bryce looked around whether Executioner was hidden, he run to Executioner's room to see.
When he reached the door, he knocked.
" Executioner open up!"
" Dad, what do you want?"
Executioner made a sleepy voice.
Bryce face was confuse, his thought.
" Hmm, if it wasn't him, then who did it?"
He walked away. Executioner looked closely at the door to see if he is gone, he didn't hear any sound and jumped on his bed. He started dancing and laughing.
" Hehe, they don't know it was me!"
He continue to dance and laugh, he felt happy that he fooled his dad and even all the assassins.
After a while, Executioner stopped dancing, he looks tired and lay on the bed. He closed his eyes and made a short wicked smile, thinking about the bad act he just made.
Just then, he heard a faint sound outside his window. Executioner open his eyes and looked around. What could it be?
He got of the bed and went close to the window.
when he looked out, he saw a bird perched on the branch of a tree.
Executioner smiled.
" Ra...ven!" he whispered.
" My friend is here."
The bird cocked it's head and looked at Executioner. Executioner giggled and waved at the bird.
He bow slowly and snuck into Jaxon's room and grabbed and arrow. He walked on tippy toes back to his room, careful not to make a sound. He opened the window and smiled meanly at the bird.
" Bye-bye, to mommy!"
Executioner said, his voice cold.
He raised the arrow and shot it at the bird. The bird made a little sound in pain and fell to the ground, dead.
Footsteps approached. Executioner jumped onto his bed and pretended to sleep.
The door opened, and Bryce peeked inside.
" Executioner, are you okay?"
Executioner kept his eyes close and raised a thumb's up.
" Yeah..."
Bryce watched him for a moment, then closed the door. Executioner open one eye, a sly smile on his face.
He muttered,
" hehe, got him,"
Then, he heard two assassins talking quietly. He went to the door and put his ear to the door.
" The person who made that explosion at this time has a childish mind,"
one said.
Executioner face got red with anger. A wicked thought crept into his mind:
' Kill them'
He smiled, his eyes shone with a mean look.
He reached into his bag, grabbed his sword and slowly opened the door. He peeked outside, making sure no one was watching.
He came out, following the two assassins to the garden. He climbed a nearby tree, his eyes fixed on his targets. He intentionally threw a rock, watching as it landed with a soft thud.
" What's that? Go check."
One said.
The assassin walked towards the rock, and Executioner's eyes locked onto him. His grip on the sword tightened.
Executioner stabbed the assassin's head from behind.
The sword came out of his face. He pulled out the sword and cut the head off. The assassin made a weird sound.
The other assassin rushed over. He saw his friend's head and body on the ground. He drew his sword, shaking.
" show your self."
Executioner jumped from the tree. He swung his sword down, slicing the assassin in half.
The assassin didn't even get to scream. He just fell apart, cut from head to toe.
Executioner stood there, laughing like a devil. Suddenly, a gun pointed at him from afar.
but Executioner was unaware. The person pulled the trigger, but the gun jammed.
Executioner turned around and saw a man struggling with his gun. Executioner shook his head and started walking towards him. The man looked up, but Executioner was nowhere to be seen.
The man's eyes widened in fear. Suddenly, Executioner's sword poked him in the back.
" Hello," Executioner whispered.
The man turn around, and Executioner plunged his sword into his eyes. The man screamed. Executioner yanked the sword out and swung it hard, cutting off the man's head.
Blood gushed out like a fountain, splattering everywhere. The headless body stumbled before falling to the ground.
" Bryce, careful of the mission you are into."
Executioner heard Bryce and Jaxon's voices getting closer. He took a step back, but his leg fell into a hidden hole. He tried to pull it out, but it was stuck.
" Shit!"
Executioner muttered, tugging hard. His leg wouldn't budge. The voice were getting louder.
