Chapter 14 - Sacrificial Revelation

"Uncle, you're so strong! You can crush those green-skinned dwarves like nothing—can't you beat the boss too?"

Cheng Yao's eyes were wide, her voice filled with awe and just a touch of confusion.

To her, Wang Xian was basically invincible. Goblins that came at them in threes or fours were all flattened in seconds. How could one slightly larger goblin make him run?

Wang Xian sighed. She clearly had no idea what a BOSS really was.

"Let me teach you something," he said, leaning on a tree to catch his breath. "BOSSes aren't just bigger enemies—they're elite monsters with stronger stats, smarter AI, higher aggression, and specialized skills. They're built to kill overconfident idiots."

Cheng Yao blinked. "Ohhh… so they're mini world-enders."

"Exactly."

She nodded seriously, then tilted her head. "But then... how did that guy—'Xian Wang'—manage to kill one? Was the boss already dying when he found it?"

Wang Xian froze.

Did she just say that to my face?

He looked away, lips twitching. As tempted as he was to out himself, he chose mercy. She didn't know. Not yet.

Instead, he retrieved a stashed pack from a hollow tree, pulled out some compressed food, and tossed her a bar. "Eat. We're not done yet."

The next wave of monsters weren't goblins, but something nastier: twisted, muscular primates with four arms and wicked claws—Four-Handed Monkeys.

They moved in coordinated packs, faster and more vicious than goblins, but it was still manageable. Wang Xian handled most of them alone while Cheng Yao hung back, gaining safe experience.

As dusk settled and their breath began to fog in the cooling air, the final monkey screeched and fell.

Wang Xian blinked.

Sacrifice...?

He hadn't expected that.

In his previous life, his hidden class had been the fearsome warrior-type [Godslayer]—a powerhouse that racked up battlefield kills like a grim reaper with a scoreboard.

But this...?

He quickly pulled up his new status window.

Wang Xian stared at the numbers.

Holy hell. These stats are broken.

Most hidden classes offered a 400% multiplier on key stats. But the Sacrifice class was granting him 500% scaling across the board. Strength, Spirit, Defense—all boosted. No other class had ever offered that in the previous timeline.

Where the hell was this class in my last life?

Then came the skills.

[Skill Overview – Sacrifice]

[All Souls] – Communicate with any being or object in existence.→ Utility: ???

What am I, a ghost whisperer?

[Compassion] – When teammates are lower level than you, they receive full EXP from kills. You also gain 10% bonus EXP per party member, up to +100%.

Great… I'm a walking XP farm.

[Controlling] – Ignore class and level restrictions when equipping items or learning skills.

Okay, that's insane.

Wang Xian could already picture it: tank gear, mage robes, assassin blades—a walking arsenal.

[Heaven's Disgust] – Anyone who attacks you suffers a divine curse: -10% experience gain for 3 days.[God's Wrath] – A stronger curse: -10% to all stats for 3 days.

So I'm also a hedgehog. Don't touch me or the gods punish you.

[Sacrifice] – Offer an item or materials to a mysterious deity. Receive one random item in return. Usable every 7 days.

Gacha roulette from God. Perfect.

[Sacrificial Dance] – An ancient ritual passed down since before recorded time. Effect: Unknown.

...Great. Now I'm an interpretive dancer too?

[Reverse the Future] – ??? (Currently inactive)

Wang Xian leaned back against a tree, half laughing, half in shock.

I was aiming for Godslayer. Instead, I became some kind of divine support-dps-hybrid with curses, buffs, and dance moves?

...Still. This is stronger than anything I've seen before.

The versatility was absurd. With the right skill books, he could become anything—swordsman, healer, mage. He could shapeshift his role on the fly.

And if [Reverse the Future] was even half as terrifying as it sounded…

He might just become the most dangerous player on Bluestar.

Behind him, Cheng Yao was snacking on dried fruit, kicking her legs idly.

"Uncle, did something happen? You've been standing there staring into space for a while."

Wang Xian exhaled and muttered, "Yeah... something happened."

Something big.
