Pain is not the enemy. It is a mirror. It shows us where we're broken and where we're most alive.
We flinch at discomfort, but it often reveals the truths we bury. The heartbreak shows us what we loved. The failure shows us what we tried for. The anxiety shows us what we care about.
Nietzsche said, "What does not kill me makes me stronger." But sometimes, pain does not strengthen it humbles. It bends us low so we can see the roots. So we can remember who we were before the masks.
In pain, we find our honesty. Our truest voice is often the one that trembles.
So do not run from the mirror. Look into it. And nod at the reflection that survived.
