They sprinted through back alleys, Pivithuru holding a thumb drive containing pieces of the zero signal code. Sashini led them to an old subway tunnel—long abandoned, supposedly.
"You sure this is safe?" he asked.
"Nope," she replied, cracking a grin. "But it's hidden. That's something."
Inside the tunnel, their footsteps echoed like whispers from the past. Suddenly—clang—a drone descended from the dark ceiling, red lights flashing.
"DOWN!" Sashini shouted.
She whipped out a compact EMP grenade, tossed it, and the drone collapsed mid-air.
Pivithuru stared. "You've upgraded since we last met."
Sashini smirked. "You haven't seen anything yet."
