hi , My name is Karthik Nair
My whole life I was a normal mpc with almost no friends, I have been alone since birth. That doesn't mean that i am actually alone but i can't speak with my family and friends about how i actually feel.
After the normal classes in school i head to the library to study or read some novels for some entertainment
This is the library receptionist ,her name is Savitri. She has been working here since i joined this school, so she knows me kind of well.
"Karthik as usual, you will be studying?" Savitri the librarian asked
"Well, maybe"
"You have never sat with nothing but the book, if you are having trouble with making friends you should read some books on it. i would recommend the book 'how to make friends and influence people' "she told with concern in her eyes
"No it's nothing like that, now i will be studying at the back as usual " i said to her casually
It's not like i don't like or want friends it's just human communication relations feel like a drag for me because you cannot predict what the another person feels or acts
I am not interested in doing homework now so I started reading a novel.
I am strangely remembering what Savitri said about books that help in talking to people.
"Maybe i should check out the psychology section"
I got up and slowly walked to the psychology section thinking what am I doing? I am fine with staying happy alone.
While i am searching for the book that is for the book 'how to make friend and influence people' as Savitri suggested
I noticed a journal type book on the table. I was curious to see what it was.so i sat down and opened the book.
The first page it was written 'Indira Nayak', isn't that the popular girl who has that weird disease of getting rashes from touching people.
I am really curious now, what has she written?
Turning to the next page:-
I told Everyone that I have a strange disease that gives me rashes when I touch people but it's not a disease it's a curse ,whatever I touch is killed.
I suddenly start hearing footsteps approaching slowly, i lift my head slowly and see Indira standing
"What do you think you are doing " she said looking annoyed
"Well what do you think, reading this book "i said looking smug
"That is my journal "enraged, she took the journal out of my hand and walked away
Just before she left, enraged "and if you tell anyone!!"
He continued reading the novel and started walking back home.
