Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 : War

Meanwhile, King Armada had already prepared and ordered all military ranks to take position. The king was confused because the troops he had sent had not returned with any information.

"What's going on, Chief? Our soldiers haven't returned from the neighboring land," said King Armada, slightly worried.

"Don't worry, Your Majesty. They're probably in battle, executing a plan to sabotage the enemy's movements," replied the Chief calmly.

"Alright then, if they don't return within the next three hours, we must prepare for war!" said King Armada firmly.

"If that is the King's decision, then we will obey!" the Chief responded.

After waiting three hours, the soldiers still hadn't returned with any information.

Back to Captain Arial and his numerous crew—now sailing toward Armada Island with the spirit of pirates ready for war. They sailed in formation, surrounding the area. Captain Arial had calculated all their strengths.

At last, they arrived at the island...

The pirates and Captain Arial disembarked from their ships and began to storm the palace one by one, attempting to conquer and occupy the area.

Captain Arial's crew was vast in number, enough to surround the palace.

They also carried powerful weapons—swords, flaming arrows, and cannons. Elders and leaders asked, "Your Majesty, what now? They've finally come to attack us!" King Armada paused to think and then began issuing commands.

"Hmm, stay calm, everyone!"

"Soldiers, come forth!" shouted the King. "Attaaaaack!!"

And so, a great battle began.

The soldiers clashed with skill—sword fights and archery battles broke out in front of the palace stronghold.

"Charge!!" Captain Arial fired up the spirits of his crew.

The local civilians fled in panic, some hiding in the palace tents, while others were struck by arrows and swords.

The royal horses, ridden by the palace soldiers, galloped fiercely into the midst of the enemy crowd.

However, many level 1 soldiers fell in battle, unable to withstand the attacks from the captain's troops, who were incredibly strong. They couldn't hold back the waves of assaults on the battlefield.

Level 2 soldiers also fell, followed by level 3 and 4 soldiers, who were overwhelmed by the enemy's attacks.

At that moment, the King and the other nobles were deeply troubled, seeing so many soldiers had fallen.

The nobles began to panic.

"What should we do, Your Majesty? Even the level 4 soldiers have fallen!"

"Very well, if soldiers level 1 to 4 have fallen, then summon the elite and special forces!" commanded King Armada.

Meanwhile, even the level 5 soldiers had been defeated.

The King and the palace nobles were at the edge of despair.

Then, all of the King's best and special soldiers came out, riding powerful horses and wielding formidable weapons. They charged forward to block and counter the enemy's assault.

---

Heavy rain poured down, thunder cracked the sky. "Duaaarrr!"—but it was also the signal of the fall of the elite and special soldiers.

Now the King was furious at the actions of the invaders from the foreign land. With sorrow and rage, the King decided to fight himself, accompanied only by the remaining special troops.

Wearing armor made of steel and the strongest titanium, the King also took his sacred sword—an ancient golden blade passed down through generations. He drew it from the throne where it had long been kept.

Then, charging on his Pegasus horse, the King stormed into battle. Whenever he rode, enemies fell before him without resistance.

Captain Arial then summoned even more troops from his ships—ten times greater in number—causing the nobles to panic even more.

Each of them began defending themselves, running and hiding.

"Captaaaain!!" screamed his soldier, unable to hold back the King's furious attacks with the golden sword.

Then Captain Arial made a move and called his general. He took up firearms and reignited the spirit of his troops.

"Now we attack King Armada and his few remaining soldiers! Don't worry, I've calculated everything. Our numbers are far greater than theirs.

Attack them! We will conquer this kingdom!" ordered Captain Arial.

"Doooor… doooor!" echoed the sound of gunfire and arrows toward the King's special forces. Many died, leaving only the King himself.

This was the final battle between Captain Arial and King Armada. Finally, Captain Arial appeared before the King.

With an angry glare, the King swung his sword, ready to crush Captain Arial. Arial stared back at him.

"Hahaha, come forward King Armada! I will finish you, and this kingdom will be mine!" said Captain Arial.

"You speak so easily… I will end you first with this golden sword!" the King roared with rage. Without hesitation, he charged forward, sword in hand.

"HIYAAAAK! I will destroy you, Arial!" shouted the King, running at Captain Arial.

But Captain Arial fired first—shooting a poisoned arrow straight into the King's heart. The battlefield fell into silence.

"Ahhhhhhhk!" the King cried out in pain, falling from his horse and collapsing.

"Hahaha, how foolish you are, King Armada.

In three minutes, you'll die. That arrow was laced with a deadly poison," said Captain Arial.

Huuuuh… huuuh… breathing heavily, the King tried to move and said,

"Damn you, Arial… My child will avenge me…"

Then the King's breath slowed, and he died on the battlefield with his soldiers.

"Hahaha, I told you, this kingdom will be mine!" Captain Arial shouted triumphantly.

He took the King's golden sword, and his troops cheered.

"Listen, my soldiers! Search the palace for valuables and treasures. If anyone remains in the palace, eliminate them!" ordered Captain Arial, and his troops stormed the palace...

The Queen began to feel uneasy and troubled.

"Tok-tak-tok-tak"—the sound of footsteps…

The nobles and advisors knocked on the Queen's chamber door.

The Queen, startled and anxious, called out, "Who is it?!"

"It's us, the nobles and advisors, Your Majesty. Please open the door!" they replied.

The Queen quickly opened the door. "What is it?" she asked anxiously.

They replied, "Your Majesty, you must flee! The King has fallen, and all the soldiers are gone. Only we are left in the palace!"

The Queen was shocked and wept at the news. But there was nothing more to be done.

The nobles urged her, "Quickly, Your Majesty, flee! They're coming!"

"But what about you all?" the Queen asked.

"It doesn't matter. As long as you and the baby are safe, we'll stay behind!" they replied.

With sadness, the Queen gathered her belongings and rushed toward the secret underground passage, as she had agreed with the King before.

"Hurry, Your Majesty! They're almost here!" the nobles cried out.

The Queen ran as fast as she could through the long underground corridor toward the ship to save her baby.

Meanwhile, Captain Arial and his troops had reached the palace. They captured the nobles and demanded to know the Queen's whereabouts.

Captain Arial roared with fury, "Where is the Queen?! If none of you speak, I will kill you all!"

"It's better we die here!" the nobles answered in unison.

"Very well! Soldiers, search every part of this palace! Bring me the Queen! She's carrying the King's child—I will finish them both!" commanded Captain Arial.

"Yes, Captain!" the soldiers responded.

They searched every room for the Queen.

The Queen ran through the long corridor as fast as she could, toward the ship. But then, she began to feel labor pains. She was weak and exhausted. She had reached the ship and cried out loudly.

"My baby is coming!" The Queen gave birth on the ship with all her remaining strength and in tears.

Meanwhile, the soldiers reported back, "Captain, we didn't find the Queen!"

"I don't care! She must be captured!" roared Captain Arial.

One soldier shouted, "Wait! There's a secret corridor in this room!"

"She must have gone that way! After her!" ordered the captain.

They followed the trail, arriving at the seashore, where they heard a baby's cry.

"The Queen gave birth on that ship! Capture her and take the baby!" shouted the soldiers.

The Queen, drenched in sweat and pain, held her newborn baby.

With tears, she said,

"My child… They're coming to capture us. I will release this anchor, and you will sail to the foreign land. You will grow and one day return to save this beloved kingdom."

Without hesitation, the Queen jumped off the ship and released the anchor. The baby sailed away to another land.

The soldiers were furious. They had only captured the Queen, not the child.

"You fools! Can't you do anything right?!" shouted Captain Arial.

"We're sorry, Captain. We tried our best!" said the soldiers, full of regret.

Captain Arial consoled them,

"It's fine. Thanks to your efforts, we've conquered this wealthy, fertile, and peaceful kingdom.

The King, the Queen, and their army are defeated. Now go gather all valuable treasures and prepare to return!" he commanded.
